You can pass out of a shot.

I dont think you can pass out of the bump animation though (i.e. when driving the lane)

I'm seeing, what I'm assuming is, a bug in the Academy practice facility in Dynasty. All my players that are wearing white uniforms have a grey tint or a dingy look to them. And everytime I attack the hoop or go for a dunk/layup, I get an insanely loud grunt.

I'd take a picture but the only camera I have is the one on my phone and it doesnt really show all that well. Has anyone else seen this?

EDIT: And I only see this while in the actual drills that you start when you approach the coaches in the gym. Its not like this when just shooting around.

My most annoying issues are:

1) Inability to do quick subs

2) End of game AI logic is sometimes broke. Twice I was up 2 or 3 pts and the computer dribbled out the time and hoisted up a long 3 pt shot (once by the Center)

3) Players catching passes out of bounds

4) The buttons to sub in starting lineup (or other special situations) do not work

5) I wanted to bring in my best defensive bench player but there are very few defensive ratings available to help me make that decision.

6) I have yet to win a game on All-Star and Pro is to easy (but hopefully with more practice that will change)

*** Despite these complaints, I am enjoying the game

I found a bug. Mark Madsen is invisible. I installed the game to the hard drive, created a player, put him on the Clippers, and started a Dynasty. I did a fast break academy drill and selected Madsen as one of the defenders. I was bumping into an invisible wall and even got blocked by air. It was Madsen.

while i was in dynasty, i tried to play the training camp in the beginning of my 2nd season and when i went by the coaches to start a drill the menu just came up for a half second and then disappeared everytime i pressed A. it was very frustrating and this made me have to sim over training camp...

I know that 'skip down court' thing is getting patched. But, are the players going to do something else instead? A simple fist pump would be cool.

Issues:

1. Blocks and rebounds. Button response could be tightened. Overall the button responsiveness needs to be enhanced.

2. Add a back-down/post button. Also use this button for defensive stance. The defensive assist button is not that great.

3. Players are stepping out of bounds when they receive the ball. Player awareness needs to be addressed.

4. We are limited in how we can steal the ball. We can only try to slap the ball out of the opponent's hands. We need to be able to perform wrap around steals and deflect balls. I want to be able to get a hand in passing lanes.

5. Some animations are warping to the ball. Very annoying since this isn't NBA Live 06.

6. Direct-passing lags a bit when you press the button for the selected player. It would be great if the pass would be completed as fast as freestyle passing.

7. Very difficult to sub with the in-game menu. We also should be given time to sub before the quarter starts.

I ran into a rare glitch last night. I tried to throw an alley and it actually went in the basket, but the possession continued on. I wasn't awarded with any points. Again, rare, just making it known just in case you guys want to include it in the patch. I have video but EASW seems to be down.

I've had several times where my progress/setting changes don't save (even though autosave is enabled)...

Example: Starting up a game - changed my starting lineup but when the game started the lineup was the original...

If i got the tip at beginigng, i get first ball, then i would get it again in forth quarter, and 2nd and 3rd would be started by AI, but now, if I won the tip, and i still get to start in 2nd and 3rd quarter, wtf/??

Man this is ridiculous. I am shooting abysmal 20% from the 3pt strike every game! It's not like I am jacking up my shots either. I am moving the ball around to get the best look. I get some guys to bite on the pump fake. I pull up on a fast break for a three by KAPONO and nothing. Yet I can hit a fall back jumper at the end of the game just to make the percentages a little higher. BAH

I don't think it is timing at all. I think it's the DNA system. They don't have attributes to correlate to shooting (at least that is what I got from Stephan) so instead it is just Dynamic DNA percentages. If a player is really cold to start the game, you are pretty much assured that he'll hit a couple regardless of how much room he is given.

If this is my misconception, someone people correct me.

For me its timing I just don't know how to time any shots in this game. I'm not looking for evey shot to go in but man it sucks to see shot after shot clank out.

Makes me want to avoid shooting jumpshots altogether at times. In some games I just kept shooting until I made it out of the funk. But I really wish there was a specific way to find out a players release point in this game.

There's not much to go by in the game so a lot of times I just put up shots and pray they go in. I never really know when I'm going to make a shot or not so teams that are built on jumpshooting I don't even bother playing as.

Edit: ok figured out what was causing all my problems I had the speed slider down to far. Just realized it now my game is back to normal Lol.
