    Quarter length for realistic stats?

After playing the demo, how many minutes are you planning on setting each quarter to, in order to get realistic final scores and stats?

    On All-Star, I'm thinking 9 or 10.

    I'd have to say 7-8

On previous versions I always played 8 mins. I found that any higher and the scores became unrealistic. I'll have a mess around with it for a few games before deciding what to go with though.

before even opening this thread I thought 12 minutes would yield the stats we'd all be looking for...So my answer is 12 minutes.

I think that will also make sure we see reserve players with fatigue becoming an issue

12 minutes seem kinda long to me. I was thinking 10 at most. On All-Star, over the span of the two, four minute quarters, I'm scoring anywhere from 18-23 points.

Czar, elaborate if you can. I'm interested in hearing your thoughts.

Baseballguy I think we all play at a different pace so to speak. Depending on the team I'm playing with I really like to use my offense to create and explore mismatches. I am also prone to walk the ball up on occassion especially when/if the cpu goes on a run.

Knowing that we only have 2 4 min quarters some may be pushing the pace a little hard just to get more possessions in. I with using whatever it takes to fit your style for realistic stats.

When playing the full finished game I had some quarters with me scoring 16 and the cpu scoring like 14. A result of great d on both sides or just some poor shooting nights. 12 felt right to my play style on the final build.

however if your playing with GS that may be too many minutes depending. Beluba plays 12 unless he wants to get more than one game in during a session then he plays 10 but preference is 12.

It was cool to not rush the game in the final and mix up playing speeds.

I hear what you're saying Czar. Makes a lot of sense. Thanks again for your input.

I bring the speed down 5-6 clicks personally, but I guessing at least 9, preferably 10-11 min/qtr to yield perfect stats and game flow. Something about the way this game flows, it kinda makes you enjoy moving the ball around, using sets, etc, to get your shots. A thing of beauty.

Czar, your impressions were right on the money. Appreciate it.
