What slider changes you made or you know you will make?

I really enjoy this demo, think is amazing in all aspect, I posted here before saying the human's defense, rebound, blocks, and steals are the areas I am really concerned with, and also the execution on fast breaks, but I played with the sliders around, raised up human's blocks, steals, offensive rebounds, fouls, and really get good game experiences, someone told me fast breaks aint' a problem, but I really can't do it, when they miss, I try to run and gun but the cpu just flew back to their court and forced me to play half court, so thats something I am really concerned with, also the auto-post up is something I hate, but overall I give it a 9/10. Finally, what are slider changes you made and plan to make?

Hard to say because i truley believe that the difference between the demo and the final build will be like day and night..

in the demo i did make the following adjustments:
    All Fouls up 20
    Steal sliders down 10
    speed down 4

Only thing i know i'll change is the fouls,i'll have to check the game out for at least a solid two weeks before i make my adjustments.
My All-time Favourite players is order:
    1.Larry Johnson
    2.Kevin Garnett
    3.Blake Griffin
    4.Ben Wallace
    5.Shawn Kemp

      Just based on the demo

      Increased the following Human Sliders
      Shot Blocking
      Shot Alter
      Steals
      Hands on the Perimeter
      Hands in the Post

My reasons for this was because my players on their own just aren't any good in these areas of game play. I don't like switching off on every pass and just like in Madden or NCAA Football I control one defender because it just feels more realistic to me as opposed to trying to control every single player.

For CPU decreased the following slider
Lowered their Perimeter shot Blocking because you simply don't see it that often in an NBA game especially by midget players.

For CPU I increased these sliders
      Passing Accuarcy
      Hands on the Perimeter
      Hands in the Post

My reasoning is because I hate sloppy basketball and those sliders somewhat make them play a bit better when passing the ball it also helps because they force a lot of passes to players who aren't open

I'm also not happy with their ability to execute a alley oop pass. Their have been several occasions where i felt like the CPU had a nice opportunity to throw a alley oop to SUPERMAN but they failed to do so.

Not sure yet what I'm going to do but i do know that i want to see Amare and Nash executing that play about 2-3 times per game and CP3 should also be active in looking for the alley oop to his big's.

Will have to waite and see if it was just a demo problem 1st. But checked that off as something to look for down the road (Final Version).

Lowered Game Speed about 4-5 clicks because it just makes things move more natural in terms of dunks and layups. They don't happen as fast when the speed slider is reduced. But the side effect is players don't sprint all out.

For the final version DEPENDING on how it plays I might decide to lower the player speed ratings and increase the game speed slider that way i'll maintain a faster tempo with guys sprinting on the break but they won't move like speed demons because i'm going to balance it out with their speed rating.

I also lowered FT Shooting down because it was way too easy.

On the Final version I might just let the players shoot their own FT's that way it should be based on their FT shooting rating if I'm not mistaken.

Thanks for the response, but ya I tried to find a way to make free throws harder for myself to take, I increase 10 to the right and found out I coudlnt' shoot freethrow for some reason, then i lowered around 20 tot he left and then i was able to shoot with the blue bar a lot smaller, so going left means free throw will be harder to take? So what if I want to lower the success of short, mid, long range shots and layup success, do i move it to the left or right???

Beluba all ready mentioned he had a fix for rocket dunks. When we get it though is the question. Release day patch, or later down the road?

To the left for less success.

Speed slider is going down 5-15. Not that it's bad at regular speed but lowering it give it an even more realistic feel.

Will have to play a full game to see if some of the other stuff balances out properly before making other changes.

It does make it feel more as if players are grounded and not sliding all over the floor but they are moon walking too much. The only way you can pull it off is to increase their speed rating if you lowere the game speed slider that low.

the CPU steals sliders. not because I dont want them to steal it ever just because Bynum shouldnt be ripping cats clean just because they are dribbling in the paint lol... oh and the CPU blocking slider.

good point about fast breaks.. i've noticed that too.. they catch up almost everytime but yet its impossible to catch them.. weird.

one thing I noticed was the CPU has a passing accuracy slider but there isnt one for the user. so if you bump that up would it help user passing as well or no? (it surely needs a boost)

Nope it only helps the CPU.....they removed the passing for the Human player this year.

But most definetly i'd boost up the CPU passing because they are really sloppy at times.

Anything more then 3-4 clicks down and some players wont be able to push the ball out in front of them on a break.

Playmakers is right. reducing the GAME SPEED slider will take away that "SPRINT AND PUSH THE BALL" animation for certain players when out on the break, depending on their original speed rating. For example with the SPEED slider down 8 clicks, it took this animation away from Farmar Odom and Artest, but Kobe could still do it. With it down 6 clicks, Odom could now sprint, as well as Farmar, but not Artest. I really love that sprint animation, and this is not a good idea IMO. I think that GAME SPEED should ONLY affect the speed of everything onscreen, and not take animations away (attribute sliders should do that). It'll be interesting to see what other sliders affect which animations and whatnot as we sink our teeth into this game.

These are most likely going to change with the final version, but here are my slider changes for the demo:

                        GLOBAL
                        - SUPERSTAR LEVEL
                        GAMESPEED: -5
                        CHARGE/BLOCK FOULS: +15
                        SHOOTING FOULS: +15
                        COLLISION FOUL FREQ: +5
                        REACH-IN FOUL FREQ: +25

                        HUMAN/CPU:
                        DUNK LAYUP STRIP ABILITY: -10/-10
                        CONTACT SHOT %: -20/-20
                        STEAL ABILITY: -25/-25
INTERCEPTION ABILITY: +50/NEUTRAL (trust me, you'll still not pick off passes like the CPU can)
SHOT BLOCK ABILITY: NEUTRAL/0 (again, trust me, the CPU will still block you more, esp on the perimeter)
                        DUNK/LAYUP BLOCK ABILITY: -20/-20
OFF REBOUNDING: +15/+15 (You need this to see ANY Off rebounds at all, at least from what I've seen)
                        SHORT RANGE SHOOTING: -10/-10
                        LAYUP %: -5/-5
SHOT ALTER ABILITY: MAXXED FOR BOTH
HANDS IN POST: MAXXED FOR BOTH

                        CPU CLOSE OUT EFFECTIVENESS: MAXXED
CPU HELP SIDE DEFENSE EFFECTIVENESS: MAXXED

All others I left alone. With these sliders it is looking like a thing of beauty out there.
                        NOW PLAYING:
                        NBA 2K16, MGS5

                        Fallout 4

Wife: "Of course he's going out to get his 2K game at 12am, like he can't wait til tomorrow."
Wife's mom: "Be grateful that's what he's running out at midnight for."

Ummm I am really worried about the bench play this year too, like last year, you rarely see CPU subs or even HUMAN doesn't need to sub cuz the players NEVER GET TIRED, I tried maximize the fatigue slider to the max, and players NEVER GETS TIRED, like the bar is still always full or close to full, which makes me really worried, I always want to build a strong bench for dynasty mode so hopefully this is not something in the final version.

It's pretty hard to gauge how fatigued a player will/would get in two 4 minute quarters. Also..towards the end of the 2nd quarter the CPU almost always subs in a couple bench players. I don't think it's something to be worried about, but we'll see.

Steals in the paint. Which ever slider directly affects that area.
