    Auto-switch to PG

For the patch, do you want to auto-switch back to the PG after you make a shot?

Before you post the thread, one of the last options is "Post a poll with this thread"

You might be able to edit the thread and add one in.

EDIT: Ya, auto switch to PG would be helpful.

yes! put this in the patch cause in the demo now after a made basket the point guard goes down court and guard and tend to guard the big man resulting in a mismatch right when the other team brings the ball down court. very frustrating when im playing user vs. user.

Yes, but what about other players that bring the ball up the court ala Lamar Odom or Tracy McGrady?

Yes, please. Although I have gotten used to automatically hitting LT and A after making a basket, but automatic would be nicer.

                Put him in PG role.

                    Re: Auto-switch to PG

sorry if this is a stupid question, but is there a way to assign a role aside from the position, ex.. SF with PG role? Or would I have to change defensive assignments prior to start of the game?

Edit let me clarify will I just be putting the player into the PG position and when the game starts I will have to assign normal PG to defend the other teams PG, or are you saying that I can assign a role to someone other than a PG and on defense the PG will guard his normal assignment.

Yes, as long as there's some kind of option to turn it on and off.

I voted yes. The main issue is that there is a wipe after a basket, so you can't freely move your player during the transition. If you score with a big, you don't want him standing on the logo while your CPU teammates start panicking and switching off.

The benefit of auto switch is having the other players rotate to the man they are supposed to cover.

The CPU-controlled SF would be guarding them ^ automatically.

This would just switch your user control to the PG who is guarding the other opposing PG on defense.

I voted "Yes," but I'm curious to listen about the rationale behind the current system in place. My gut tells me it was an honest oversight, but perhaps there's a benefit we're missing.
