BTW how can I do pick and pop? Can't find any play in the demo to do it.

Does The Post Game Sucks or I Just Don't know How To Play Inside?
I am finding the post game to be terrible in this game. All turn around jumpers look the same and is very hard to make great moves on the inside. Also the pick and roll is a bit anoying but I am working on it.
BTW how can I do pick and pop? Can't find any play in the demo to do it.Tags: None -

Press rb when you are running PnR to have the player pop out the icon will change so you'll know when you have done it right.
And the post game is passable to me I wouldn't call it terrible but it is very limited in comparison to the perimeter game.
I really hate how EA took out the sig shots from the post game though I loved that about 09. I was hoping they would expand on that because it gave the post players some individuality.
Here's a list of post game controls:
tap Shot = pumpfake
double tap Shot = up and under
tap Shot, move LS or RS left/right = fake and drive
turbo + RS left/right = drop step
RS left/right = post spin
Shot with neutral LS = hook or post turnaround
Shot with LS away = post fade
LS up prior to dribble = pivot to face upLast edited by Jano; 09-29-2009, 01:42 AM. -

I knew something was missing, but the problem with that was that those sig shots were money almost every single time you used it. So players could do the same play over and over again.
I was hoping they would make the post game better than years past but unlike the rest of the game that part still feels the same.
The rest is much better.Comment

I like the post game. Its not an automatic score like previous years. Less points in the paint is fine with me.Comment

If your losing the ball while trying to get into the paint, I've noticed that lifting off the turbo button helps you back down the guy holding you. Otherwise you'll get jacked all day.Comment

Yes, I really, REALLY, hate this! Now Kobe's fade from the post looks like everyone else's?! They really had some really nice sig shots from the post last year (really loved Duncan's), I have NO idea why they would take it out.Comment

Re: Does The Post Game Sucks or I Just Don't know How To Play Inside?
The major focus seemed to be on most other aspects of the game.
The perceived weak point does seem to be the inside stuff... post game. rebounding. I expect this will get a lot of attention during the next development cycle.
It's solid and servicable, but when you put it up against all the other major improvements it does stand out as a bit vanilla.
I don't think they could have done much more in one year.
Still, overall Live 10's good points far outweigh any bad points.Comment

I actually like the post game. There isn't alot of flare but you can do most anything you want. I do miss being able to hold the trigger to back someone down but the auto-post up seems to be prety smart.
Sig shots where pretty cool but need alot of tweaking if they wanted to leave them in.Gamertag and PSN Mrclutch1013

It works fine once you get used to it. It's just not as deep as other parts of the game.
Rebounding seems more about positioning and boxing out rather than when to press the rebound button.
Interesting those they a post up player for their cover considering it's the least developed part of the game.Comment

Post game is a little dull and generic.....but its there...thats weird b/c it was one of the few things i liked about 09....inside the paint has taken a step back period imo this year...of course, judging from the demoComment
