Patch Release Date?

I asked this in the patch thread but didn't get a response...

I was just wondering if they said when they're gonna release the patch, more specifically the "dedicated back-down button" patch. Is it gonna be first day or later on, cause right now that's the only thing holding me back from buying this game...

I don't think this would be available on launch since that's next Tuesday... they would've had to have enough time to make the fixes, submit the patch to MS/Sony for approval, and then actually get it up. My guess would be a little while after release, probably a month or so. Many of the issues didn't come to light until the demo dropped and even if they had some of them already fixed or got the patch done ridiculously quickly, it would still probably miss release date simply because it takes MS/Sony a while to approve.

Just my non-professional thoughts on this...
