will real-time injuries update in game? maybe that's why they laid off injuries, which isnt a bad idea, but honestly, you dont see too many big time injuries in the NBA, at least not at the rate of the NFL, but i think they still should've had some, just not have them occur as often though.

So there are no in game injuries, only when simming? What about when your player comes up hobbled, etc? Does that just affect them for that play?

Damn it looks like scoring is going to the most difficult it has ever been in a pro hoops game! It will be a nice change to be able to play a 48 min defensive struggle rather than a 145-139 dunk/score fest like we usually get.

It might not appeal to everyone but i like how a dunk or nice layup will actually seem kinda like a big deal because it doesn't happen every time down the court.

3 Q's (only off the top of your head if you can remember, nothing urgent)?

Q1: In the games you have played how have the rotations/subs been so far? Like it didn't get to a close game in the 4th and cpu sub patterns weren't benching your PTP'ers were they?

Q2: How is the post game presentation? I've seen some slight footage of it but i'm interested to see what you guys think

Q3: Tried an online game yet? How's the lag etc?

Scoring can be done but this is more of a mid range game than anything man

You have to work sometimes to get inside

Thing is every game is not the exact same so don't expect to milk one thing with one player all the time against every team.

Havent tried any online games... really didnt get to play any full games except on last night before bed blazers vs lakers in POR

Got hot hitting mid range's with LA, and got Pau in foul trouble. I abused the mess out of him , and contested alot of his fades with a hand in his face... looked Shane Battier-ish, but that was only LA Ive seen do that.

Presentation of playoffs and finals are similar with the green screen thing

Reg season they show someone in warmups doing a layup or grabbing a rebound passing it to a teammate coming to do a pre game shot or layup or whatever before they show someone doing their ritual (vince, wade)

When I was playing NY, they were kicking the ball around the perimeter alot and Hughes kept hitting so during an out of bounds dead ball a "3points" screen came up and Kerr started talking about how they were killing me with the 3 as they were showing the highlights of what they were doing to me.

During my LA game (the only one I finished) they have a dunk of the game in the 4th qtr

They show all the shooting fouls immediately afterwards whether you make em or not.

End of qtr and half highlights come up with the music playing although I think the PS3 has an audio bug... the sound quite a few times wouldnt be there at all while the replays showed, but im not sure the 360 has this problem... ill confirm

The hold the ball til the shotclock thing is there... I think Mike mentioned a fix for this already, but it happens, just not too often

What else was wrong, the out of bounds thing although also going to be fixed is there, but that doesnt happen often either

I was playing a bunch of short halfs and stuff so I didnt get to play much, so sorry I cant confirm alot of other things if I havent already... I'l give it more of a whirl tonight but some guys might get it in the store today

Im not a huge franchise guy so i really never play it. New or not, I dont really care, but I understand some guys sentiments.. Ill let someone else answer the depth of it because again im not into it as much as some and havent been over the years.

Main thing they said core gameplay and they had alot to fix and really worked on that.

Stuff we're talking about is minus any new DNA and all rosters arent final since some guys are still FA's

other stuff heard some really nice arena specific chants and stadium sounds like the funny sound when LA makes a bucket, the spurs chant, man the audio in stadium is just nuts, the chants of defense, the crowd, IMO is still top notch.

I understand you don't play franchise 23, but can you go in and play around a little.

Almost seems like you guys have been told not to talk about it, everyone who has the game, and no one will/has mentioned anything pertaining to franchise.

No offense or anything intended, it's just where I'll spend 90% of my time and want to know if it's worth the purchase when I disliked last years.

I understand you don't play franchise 23, but can you go in and play around a little.

Almost seems like you guys have been told not to talk about it, everyone who has the game, and no one will/has mentioned anything pertaining to franchise.

No offense or anything intended, it's just where I'll spend 90% of my time and want to know if it's worth the purchase when I disliked last years.

I didnt not go in there, I did go in but it wasnt much because i was too busy answering everyone's questions. I only played one full game and that was after I got off of the computer late last night at about 130

I looked in there yesterday to try to confirm shilouettes or not guys were asking about and I said in the beginning I didnt have alot of time so I couldnt get into franchise but I would do it tonight

My entire week is full, I got home at 1amET last night and tried to answer more. I didnt get to make any videos besides the couple of EASW clips because it takes forever to convert and upload a 10 minute deal. That takes an hour or longer sometimes.

Anyhow I'll look into franchise tonight though... im just at work, when I get home I have about an hour to answer questions before I have to leave and return again at 1am ET.

Yea I would really appreciate it if you guys could get around to franchise sometime soon because that is THE deciding mode for me. I probably play quick games about 2 percent of the time. Online only about 10 percent or less. The vast majority of my play time would be in the franchise. It's the mode I get my $60 worth out of.
