Oh ... and another question - on NHL 10 we can use custom soundtracks. Does NBA Live offer that?

I love that feature - because the music on NHL 10 sucks ... and I suspect it's no different on NBA Live 10.

It's pretty sad to be honest....

Shoes, Tatoos and headbands are more important now days than actual gameplay............

I saw one cat even ask about if Iverson's hair was going to be fixed. I can't believe half the **** i see posted sometimes on these boards now.

I mean seriously if your that obssessed with the gear not being 100%perfect how about just editing the players yourself. That's like the easiest and most simple thing to do in the game because they have a shiiit load of gear to choose from if your not happy.

believe me when i say this... THIS IS NOTHING COMPARED TO THE NITPICKERS IN MADDEN FORUMS ..this is child's play compared to some of the super picky super selfish sob's in madden forums. Some people expect 100% perfection in a videogame and its just not gonna ever happen..its all a pipe dream and they totally lose out on the main principle of gaming..which is enjoying the damn game for what it is...O'well better them then me..thats for sure.

Dont get me wrong..presentation plays a HUGE role in sports games but it just seems if things are not 100% spot on..these guys just throw a baby tantrum lol

This is what is gonna set Live10 apart from NBA2k10..these more robust juke moves,etc that we have more control of with Live10. That and the fact that teams play much like their real life teams...this is why i feel Live10 will be the top dog this year...

I have very high hopes for this game. As a long time 2K head, it was kind of refereshing to see that I couldn't just crossover and spin my way to the hole all day. Observing the computer shut down the baseline, deflect poor passes, and force me to play some real ball is a nice change of pace. Another one of my favorite bball games was Inside Drive 2004 (the one with Shaq looking like a hungry trout on the cover), Live reminds me a lot of that for some reason, but I just can't put a finger on what it is. Regardless, these videos and impressions are killing me right now.

A lot of my people that I've run with in 2k since the original Xbox are kind of bugging that I'm picking up Live this year. They're acting like I ran over their dog or something. Sometimes you gotta make a change, and playing the two demos made the decision for me. I may end up scooping up 2K at some point but Live is getting burn out of the gate because I'm feeling it more at this point. Still waiting on my Jersey hookup to come through like he usually does, but if anybody needs a few extra bucks to overnight this to me, holler at the kid. I'm hurting right now, the 6th seems too far away lol.

I also enjoyed ID 04 ..and Live10 feels and looks very "refreshing", something which is badly needed for the current gen systems.

Man, I'm watching Real Training Camp on NBA TV and the Nuggets are scrimmaging and Live really does have the flow of NBA basketball down. I saw JR Smith do a size up into a step back jumper that looked just like Live. I was even thinking that Live may have over done the size ups but all of the guards went to some sort of size up dribble when the play broke down or they went one on one.

Also, a lot of draw and kick and creating space for jumpers. I would like to see a few more breaks from Live but everything else is really well done.

For those of you guys who don't know, team practices are in the hangar. I don't think you can run plays or do five on fives, but all of your players are on the court shooting around, and you can press A to switch to anyone to practice their handles or sig shot. To get to this screen, you have to start a dynasty, hire assistants, and then get to the hangar.

Not like this takes a long time, but it'd be nice to have a practice mode separate from the rest of the game.

Damm...that's dissapointing. I was going to spend a few days just learning the plays, running 5 on 5 practice.

Just had a look at the vids again + played the demo some more...I have not seen any 3 on 1 fast breaks. None.

Can someone who has the game check how the fastbreaking is as LIVE 09 had terrible fast break logic.

I am concerned LIVE 10 hasn't improved this. I can live with missing tatts and headbands or wrong shoes, those things never bother me, but fastbreak logic is very important.

I think my question may have been overlooked. Can you guys talk a little about in game fouls? Are you seeing a realistic amount? What about loose ball fouls?

You definitely have to touch the sliders for realistic fouls.. i bummped up +5 on collision, +7 on charge block and +1 on shooting and reaching.

one change out of the box im hearing is fouls.. up atleast 20% from what its set at default. 20-30 per game and this game just doesnt appear to cater to that out of the box. who likes shooting FTs against friends? so its understandable

How many replays are being shown at the end of the qtrs, half, end of game, after fouls, etc...

Why don't you guys have an impressions thread yet? Looks like a couple of people have the game. Just curious...

I've yet to play enough to give you an impression, honest one really

I didnt count the replays but its enough through a game where you wont be starving for more. I think iminurbase said the quene saves about 50 for a game so you might see up to that much, some dupulicates in a 12 minute game

I honestly have talked to you guys more and answered more questions than played myself personally because this is like the worst week ever for any spare time

I stayed up til like 230am PT last night just to get one full game in

It was worth it because i ended the night on a good note...Killed the well not killed but beat the lakers at home in a playoffs game. I was the Blazers, their real weakness.

Thanks 23. Do you only see one replay at a time like the demo or do they play 2 or 3 in a row after the qtrs, half, end of the game, etc...

I'm hoping I get a call from my m&p store. Great stuff the last couple of days from you and Czar. I'm hoping we can get some more vids out soon.
