Lmao. I had my man's release looking beat in that video. I mastered the art of B. Roy in 2K9, it's only a matter of time before I get him right in Live. I've got B. Roy in the hanger running suicides as we speak, we'll have it together soon. Jameer Nelson has probably been my favorite dude to shoot with in the demo.

Re: NBA live 10 Retail Video thread
I didn't play Live 09 all year. I was hyped up at the beggining but then the hype went out the window for me especially after seeing things in the game that I don't care to discuss again this year.
I could live with a few earlier versions of Live because it was new and fresh to me. Kinda like it being new and fresh to people right now who went away from the game and are coming back.
Well when you never left like myself somethings won't feel as new or fresh as they would for the guy coming back. The CPU has always been a huge problem in Live whether that is animations or just basketball logic. Yes the animations have improved somewhat, yes the game play has improved. But for me the logic of the CPU players is still the same. They might animate a bit better but after 5years on Next Gen when you see the same things, same type of shots by guys you know that with oir without DNA shouldn't be shooting it gets old. When you see the CPU for the 5th year playing ball as they are in the local YMCA it gets old.
I'm not interested in what the Human player can do with the CPU players on the floor. If they can't perform on their own after 5 years I doubt i'll be that interested in playing a season or franchise.
Guys can tell me i'm delusional or i don't know basketball but i do know there is a certain style of play on the the floor with Chris Paul, D.Wade, LBJ or Amare.
Has anyone honestly seen Chris Paul do the things Chris Paul does on the floor?
I'm not talking about shooting the ball i'm talking about breaking a guy down off the dribble just like you see one of these cats showcasing his dribbling skills. Have tou seen Paul get into the paint draw the defender and then throw an alley to one his bigs?
Have you seen Nash and Amare run the pick roll on their own and it end up with Nash setting up Amare for a nasty dunk?
Has anyone seen Shaq at 350 look like Shaq and not Manut Bol inside?
I could go on and on but hey i know guys are going to say you can't EXPECT THAT TYPE of play out of the cpu.......
Why can't I, They are using DNA right?
It has been 5 years and yes the development team has changed but there are tons of things i could point out that hasn't changed. Things a new guy might not notice because it's new to him and it hasn't been something he's seen every year.
Now by all means I'm sure Live 10 will be a great game for many Live fans and even those who bailed out and came back again. But for me personally it's just NOT that good based on the CPU vs Human play and the earlier years of excitment and freshness NO longer exist for me.
But hey thanks man atleast you didn't come at me with some B.S. telling me I don't know the game or how to play the game like some of these cats want to post if someone finds things or points out things they might think is bothersome.
Anyway, everyone on this forum knows how you feel. Whats the point in typing another whiney post ever other page about how bad the game looks??Comment

Re: NBA live 10 Retail Video thread
Any way anyone can post the league leaders in dynasty.....screens would be great but I would be happy with th numbersWhat I would really like is for someone to really give a great break down and analyze the dynasty mode and see about rookie progression/award winners.Any word on the stats"Don't complain about the show if the ticket is free."Comment

Re: NBA live 10 Retail Video thread
Live definitely needs to step it up with the ball rim interactions because right now its looks atrocious. If Live weren't a sim game then it would be acceptable but right now it's a definite deal breaker.Comment

Re: NBA live 10 Retail Video thread
totally the other way for me, does the rim even move in the other game? i think the different ways the ball bounces in, out, or around the rim looks great. a lot of variety to it if you ask me.Comment
