i am loving this game. was playing as the wizards against the jazz last night. mid way thru the first quarter my wife came in and asked me to put together a desk she had bought. i said ok and just changed the controller to neither team and watched the rest. man, the teams play JUST like their real life counterparts on this game. it was as close to watching a real telecast as i can ever remember seeing. i am loving the way this game plays man, it is a HUGE leap forward for the series...

Thanks for the impressions, everyone. I'm really excited that the shooting percentages are spot-on out of the box. I'm anti-slider these days so I'm thrilled to be able to play a game that I don't have to worry about tweaking.

I also like hearing that individual teams have their own distinct personality and play-style. Can't wait to take Melo and the Nuggets to the court on Tuesday and test this bad boy out.

Live has a great foundation this year...when they are able to get rid of some of the clunkyness, and add some new animations they will have definite advocate here...attacking the rim and getting that same contort animation no matter who im driving with is getting old, and making it a little less exciting... Its awesome how you can get some very realistic stats in 48 mins though, cant think of another game that can say that... right now its not keeping me interested enough to do so though...Live 11 is going to be a beast to be reckoned with, no doubt about that...

This is what concerns me because the last 2 years I have said that with each passing year its going to be Live's year with the next game.

Agree. That's a pretty offensive comment seeing that I'm sure there are those of us who have or have had family members with Parkinson's. My grandmother passed away from that horrible disease, and my uncle is now enduring it as best as possible.

Sorry if I offended anyone by my stupid remark. It was definitely uncalled for. Poor choice of words on my part in trying to insert some 'humor' into my argument. Obviously there's nothing funny about Parkinson's. I pray for your uncle and anyone else who has this terrible disease.

I assure you this game has far more depth to the gameplay than that. Im sorry but the organization and NBA playcalling and mid range game is unmatched dude.

This game is far from a dunkfest.. and its not animation heavy, its based on strategy and intelligence of running authentic NBA sets.
You can win running the offense as a team like they really do, then you can take over with the superstar if you need to.

The games are so random though because no game feels the same, dont let anyone tell you any different man. You wont know til you play it youself.. this game is not for the arcade fan or those who like dunking as most of their offense

No 3pt Shootout or Dunk Contest this year. The Rookie vs Sophomore game and All-Star Game still exist.

I have heard out that only dynasty allows you to control more than one team if this is true, does season mode have a fantasy draft? My favorite part of basketball games is the ability to draft a team against my friends and just play the games we match up.
