i always felt that Live always had good passing mechanics.....

    until now.

this year version of live has some of the worst passing and pass defense i ever seen. i was watching that new pasta video(DET and MIA) and a couple others vid and just notice how silly the passing looking and also defense doesnt seem to react realistic. i saw a rollling pass go from the 3 point line to the paint and 3 defenders and no one reacted

also from the vid, the game feels boring, but i cant quite put my finger on how it looks boring so im gone hold back that feeling

I have to disagree. Of course there can be improvements but compared to what I'm used to the passing mechanics in this game are incredible.

IMO Passing in live has always been one of it's worst aspects. The new stick passing is a welcome addition but I think both hoop titles need to address their basic passing animations for next year.
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

agree it just seems like its to many backwards passes being made...I think its the overall player animation that still needs work but I aint worried the game still looks good.

i agree with that. i havent played live since 05 but i felt they had passing and pass defense pretty good. 2k series is not the best so live has always had that advantage IMO until now. now both needs to address there passing mechanics cause its looking horrible out there
