Manual Post to be included in a patch?

My purchase of this game rides on a patch for manual posting up/backing down your man without auto post. I've seen rumors to this only (pastepadre), any one have something closer to a fact or statment from the NBA LIVE devs? THX.

we requested it a while ago and mike told us he already had a build of it working by clicking the right stick in...so that will be in the patch.

We haven't published specifics of what the patch will contain but I'll post something when we get closer to its release. But yes, the postup button will be in it.

Thanks a lot mike im not a fan of the new auto post-ups in this years NBA games to this is good news for me, what do you guys have in mind in terms of where the Manuel post-up button will be?

Definitely not a game breaker at all for me either. What i like about them changing it is that they are doing it because of community feedback, its good to know that they are listening to us.

good news. based on the demo I learned to play without it after while and got used to the mechanic.

Beluba, when do you think we might see that patch? You probaby don't have a specific date right now, but, I mean, are we talking a matter of days or weeks after October 6th?

Beluba, when do you think we might see that patch? You probaby don't have a specific date right now, but, I mean, are we talking a matter of days or weeks after October 6th?

It has to go through the certification process so it's a matter of weeks not days. Also, we want to wait til the game is in more peoples' hands so we can fix as many gripes as possible before locking it down. It will be worth the wait though.
