The choppiness (IN THE DEMO) was specifically when there was a crowd under the basket. Anyone still seeing the issues with that?

Re: PS3 Framerate issues...
Two possible fixes.
1) - Delete all NBA Live files from the Saved Data Utility folder. These are not your game saves but the NBA Live data that installs so it can stream from the HDD. Reinstall Live and try again. If it still is there try step 2.
2) - Delete all NBA Live files from the Saved Data Utility folder. Turn off the PS3 system. Turn it on by holding the power button and continue holding the power button. You will hear one beep but continue holding until you hear two consecutive beeps. Once you hear that, let go. From here you will be taken to a special menu with 6 options. Select option #3; Restore File System. It will ask you to confirm, select yes. Follow the next menus. After that it will check the database and if something is wrong it will say: The hard disk's file system is corrupted and will be restored. Select OK. Now this does not delete any files. This checks the system and fixes and corrupt files. This might be the source of the frame rate issue.Comment

Re: PS3 Framerate issues...
Hey guys this may not be a PS3 specific issue after all. I\'m on the 360 and saw something strange just happen. Been playing the game since Saturday and this is the first I have seen of it. Was playing Knicks vs Lakers and the Lakers were passing around the paint. Not in the paint but very close to it and during this it was not even like it dropped down to 30 frames per second it just stopped for half a second like a freeze, continued and stopped again and then continued. I also noticed that replays weren\'t playing correctly during this game. Some were like still frames and some were doing like the action above.Comment

I've only had 1 or 2 really bad games, and that was probably within the first 3-4 games I've played. Since then, everything has kindof smoothed down. I only have a few issues once in a while when rebounding or throwing the ball in after the other team scores. Also, the replays can tend to be a little choppy here and there. Overall though, I haven't noticed anything major since the first few times that I have played.Go Cavs, Go Browns, Go Tribe! Cleveland Rocks!

Re: PS3 Framerate issues...
I think it might have been against the Knicks as well (or Pistons). I can\'t remember. I know what you are talking about. I had the really bad framerate drop when I was passing around just inside the 3-point line, before I kicked it out for a three-pointer. It stuttered along so bad that I didn\'t realize that I shot the three with Shaq. LOL. I\'ve only had 1 or 2 really bad games, and that was probably within the first 3-4 games I\'ve played. Pimpton, I don't know if this has already been asked, but are you playing in SD or HD? If HD, what resolution?Comment

Re: PS3 Framerate issues...
I have a 46-inch Samsung HDTV, full 1080p resolution. The game only runs in 720p, though, so I don't really know if that could be the issue or not.Go Cavs, Go Browns, Go Tribe! Cleveland Rocks!

Re: PS3 Framerate issues...
(I copied and pasted this from the "Impressions" thread, so I could make sure that most saw it in at least one of these threads)
stephensonmc, I just want to let you know that the framerate problem hasn't really resurfaced since the first few times that I had played it. Only minor hiccups, here and there, like occasionally on rebounds and inbounds passes, as well as during most replays. Not really a big deal anymore, as long as the initial problems don't pop up again.
Another gripe is catching the ball out of bounds. I just did this 5 times against the Wiz during my 5th regular season game with the Cavs. I ended up losing by 4 points, which had me pretty livid. LOL. Also, the AI holding the ball at the top of the three point arc happens about 4-5 times during a game.
Post-up doesn't always work when I want it to either, resulting in a TO (I know this will be included in the patch). Other then these minor gripes, I am loving this game...FOR REAL! I play on All-Star w/ 10 minute quarters and get spot-on stats for my players. Again, LOVIN' this game, and whenever the patch is released, that should make the experience damn near perfect for me!

Re: PS3 Framerate issues...
Just thought I'd follow-up on this issue as a fellow PS3 owner... I'm happy to report I haven't experienced any major hiccups so far. A few minor ones here and there, but nothing near as bad as the demo. Overall it's running very smoothly on my PS3. Good stuff.
My only complaint: During the halftime and end-of-game highlights, the little theme song doesn't play. It plays during the 1st quarter highlights though. If this can be patched up, that would be great. Not a huge problem though. At least the game is running smoothly. That was my biggest concern.Comment

Also having this problem. Sometimes the ending quarter song doesn't play at all leaving a awkward silence moment of replays.Comment

Re: PS3 Framerate issues...
I have it for PS3 on a 1080p TV...and have no framerate problems at all. It's fine. Not sure why it's not for others?Comment
