Man, is there anyway we could get a quick vid of that? It almost sounds too good to be true.

Anything with Nate is a 'little' thing.

        So EVERYTHING he does

I do like the shots over the backboard from almost out of bounds shots.

I love the off the ball fouls. I was playing Celtics vs. Nuggets K. Martin set a screen for Melo away from the ball and an illegal screen was called. I have not seen that in NBA ball since Inside Drive. I love this game...

Do the injuries do anything to the player's ratings or is it just an animation?

One animation I like is the hussle play where the player is balancing on one foot then passes the ball in.

              playing a rewind game.
              bucks at golden state.

crowd not that packed. pretty quiet.
midway through the second, golden state down three after a 8-0 run they get quiet. golden state gets a bucket and a steal.
crowd slowly starts up a 'lets go warriors' chant.
              sounded sweet
like a few started it and slowly everyone else kicked in

so far, cj watson has been elementary my dear

I love how different players get booed in different arenas, Boozer got booed every time he did something in Cleveland.

I also love how the crowd will boo players if they are killing their team, or sometimes not for any reason at all. I was playing as the lakers in denver and suddenly in the 2nd half they started booing Pau Gasol when he had played like crap all game

at the beginning of the 2nd in golden state, down 11, the crowd booed.

funny, Golden State getting booed at home being called a little thing. lol
                      more like the normal things.

but in the game? cool stuff.

Re: NBA Live 10: The Little Things

I know this is the Little Things thread, but I just finished a game where it literally came down to every possession in the 4th quarter. My Cavs vs the Wizards at Cleveland. It was the most insane game that I have ever played, and I enjoyed every second of it.

I squandered away a 11 pts halftime lead, late in the 3rd quarter, to go into the 4th down 6. Their lead got as big as 14 pts with around 7 minutes left to play. Crowd was dead silent. I couldn't hit anything. No calls were going my way.

Around the 6 minute mark, I attempted a drive to the rack, but was surrounded by 3 Blue Jerseys around Lebron, when I spotted Mo cutting to the rack behind me, use freestyle passing, only to see Lebron drop the ball between his legs to a cutting Mo, who hit the beautiful runner. Crowd instantly got into the game.

A few more stops, and a LOT of hustle plays... and I was right back in the game. Every shot that I would hit, they would match it. It was INSANE. Hibachi was fairly quiet all game, until the 4th quarter, when he decided that it was Gil-Zero time, and dude was just absolutely on fire. I'd throw something up, and hit a great shot, and he'd come back and quiet the crowd with one stroke of his wrist.

We went back and forth, until JJ Hickson was able to get a beautiful block off at the rim against Jamison... which set up a quick break for my Cavs. The Wiz defense was keyed in on Mo Will who had hit 3 of the last 4 buckets for the Cavs, and forgot about Lebron over on the right wing, spotting up for a 3. He did not care that he was 0-4 for the day... all he cared was he took the shot at the time. I launched a 3... the crowd was in a frenzy. As it hit nothing but nylon, the crowd erupted even louder, and James went crazy, waving his arms telling the crowd to get on their feet. It was my favorite moment in a videogame to date.

We went back and forth for the final few minutes... Gil kept the Wizards in the game, but in the end, there was too much Lebron, and too many clutch Free Throws by Mo to seal the deal in Cleveland. Stats below.

                        Arenas 35 Pts 2 Reb 7 Assists (14-22 FG, 2-6 3PT FG)
                        Butler 23 Pts 4 Reb 2 Assists (11-16 FG, 1-1 3PT FG)
                        Jamison 18 pts 11 Reb 3 Assists(7-11 FG, 1-3 3PT FG)
                        Miller 14 Pts 4 Reb 6 Assists (6-15 FG, 2-4 3PT FG)

                        O'Neal 12 Pts 9 Reb 5 Assists 2 Blocks (6-12 FG)
                        Varejao 10 pts 9 Reb 2 Assists 2 Blocks (3-3 FG)
                        Williams 23 Pts 1 Assists 3 Steals (7-18 FG, 3-4 3PT FG)
                        Lebron James 49 Pts 4 Reb 12 Assists 1 Block (22-43 FG, 1-5 3PT FG)
West 2 Pts 4 Reb 1 Assists (Pitiful)

                        FT 14-17/14-17
                        REB 33/42
                        Assists 24/25
                        Blocks 13/10
                        Steals 4/4

                        Fouls 11/12
                        Off Reb 2/7
                        Def Reb 31/35

An amazing game. I wish I could go back and watch it on TV. It was THAT suspenseful. One sequence went like such:

Gil gets a free lane to the hoop, only to have JJ Hickson come weekside and block the ball off of Jamison, to where the ball is going out of bounds... Jamison dives to save the ball, underneath the basket, the ball is loose at around the FT line underneath the Wiz goal... Wiz player runs to grab it, but JJ is already diving on the ground, knocking it to Mo, who finds LBJ streaking up the sideline for the HUGE flush. (Wish I would have saved it, but I was too excited, haha)

This is my little things thread

I like how if you are the Lakers and you are controlling Kobe on defense and the person you are guarding is standing in the corner, without moving anything on the contoller, Kobe will go into that real life animation where he will bend over a little and rest his hands on his knees a la Micheal Jordan.

I played a game as the Magic against the Raptors in Toronto... when the fans started booing VC, I shed a tear.
Previous game I dunked with Howard in Orlando, and an abridged version of the Superman theme played (I realise licensing issues would prevent the actual theme being used, but the fact that they made at least an effort is much appreciated).

This game is nowhere near prefect, but damn... best b-ball game I've ever played in terms of capturing the fundamentals, the intensity, ups and downs of a real NBA game.

The atmosphere in this game is simply fantastic. Makes you feel like you are there, experiencing it.

Played a game, Memphis me vs Minny cpu at Memphis. I was loosing at halftime by 18 or sth, started the second half with me inbounding the ball and crowd booing me for my subpar performance. Nice touch. Real.
