Props to the EA team for putting in arena specific PA sounds. In Live 10 in Phoenix, I've heard the real life Amare dunk sound, as well as the sound for when someone hits a 3-pointer.

Someone PM'd me and said they heard the "meep meep" Roadrunner sound that's played when Barbosa scores.

This is the only kind of presentation that truly matters - gameplay presentation. Absolutely fantastic. The presentation in game is in my opinion, superior to that of MLB The Show 09.

I've not seen any mascot appearances (wondering if they are in here) but I did see the Suns Gorilla hanging out in the tunnel once. My compliment here is that he looked appropriately sized. In the last basketball game I bought (2k7) the Gorilla had an odd shaped body and I think his arms were literally flat, like paper thin.

When I heard that I was like whoa. They kept chanting it every time I brought the ball up the court. It was cool to hear. It sounds great with the organ.

The Kings have a trumpet when up going into the 4th.

Kobe drove and got a foul on Martin,Martin turned the ref and clapped. Didn't get T'd up though.

I rented nba 2k10 and thought it was so so.
I'm thinking about buying NBA Live 2010.

Questions:
1. Detriot Pistons arena - what "little things" have you noticed?

2. Does Ben Wallace (Pistons player now) have "Big Ben" ring when he scores?

3. New York - Madison Square Garden---does it have the Organ music.. does it sound authentic?

4. Is the PA announcer the same announcer I've heard for the last 10 years of NBA live? In other words, is there different PA announcers in different arenas?

5. I read that some arenas at certain times are not filled (seats available) Is this true?

Vince Carter does NOT get booed in Toronto if you put him back on the Raptors. TMac doesn't either but I dunno if he gets booed anyway.

1. There's a whistle after a dunk or lay up. The mascot is behind the Pistons bench. Earlier in the thread it was mentioned they do the "Deeettttrrroooiiiitttt basket-ball!" thing. There's another whistle for time outs. They've got something when Rip scores too but I can't hear it exactly over the commentary.

2. He starts on the FA list (unless there was a roster update) so I doubt it but I'll check. Nope.

3. It's "New York Arena" in the game and I'm pretty sure it has organ music.

5. Yes. I was blowing out the Knicks and there were empty seats in the 4th with about 5 minutes left,could see some of the people actually getting up and leaving. I've also seen empty seats at the start of the 3rd,guessing they're still at the snack stand and the such.
