Alright...Can Someone Explain Live Run's Setup?

I created a squad yesterday (NeoGAF Revolucion), and I have 13 guys in it. We were able to get 10 of us online last night in a room, but we couldn't figure out how to play 5 vs 5 against each other. As a result, we had to settle for some OTP action instead with inviting each other to the unranked game.

So...I have two questions...

1. Is there any way to play Live Run amongst each other in a squad? If not, what's a workaround to allow us all to play together in that sense.

2. Is playing against another squad simply a matter of hitting the "quick match" option?

We want to try again tonight, but considering that I'm the creator of the squad, I want to show leadership with a clear path for us to play.

You're not playing with your own squad, you are supposed to battle against other squads. So since you have 13 people, you could theoretically have 3 games going at once against other squads, two 5 v 5 games and one 3 v 3. When you have enough teammates collected in one of the Live Run lobby rooms, you just search for a game. I think you can find a game against a particular squad if you want to, but normally it'll just match you by number of players active (we played last night with 3 of us and got 3-on-3 every time except once where we were going against 4 humans).

If you want your squad to all play together, just create a party in XBL and then create an unranked OTP game and choose "invite friends" and you'll be able to fill it up with your party members. Can't do the Live Run format that way (have to use real NBa teams), but that's the best way to play with 9 other friends.

Thanks Stumble, that makes sense now.

Did you figure out how to show what gamertags are controlling each player in-game? It gets confusing in 5 vs 5 action.

No idea, I just knew who was controlling who since there were only 3 of us. We generally chose PG, SF, C as positions and then the AI filled in the remainder, so that helped as well. There might be some options as the host, but I wasn't hosting last night so I can't really answer either way. I think you're stuck with the default presentation though since you can't even change the camera in Live Run mode like you can in regular OTP.
