*Gamplay*

-Absolute or Relative option for right stick dribble moves.

-Generally improve interior play. Give KG, Timmy and D12 some love. It's not broken but it isn't a nice as the perimeter / mid range game.
Contextual boxing out seems to work fine now.
Post still needs a button, preferably held, so you don't come out of it accidently. Which happens quite a lot at the moment with contextual posting up.
Note: Holding down stick buttons is a big no no. Very uncomfortable and unwieldly.

-Make practice a stand alone feature or have it accessible from the Hangar.

-1 on 1 mode. Oh yeah! (just popped into my head) Imagine being able to challenge other players in the hangar, or a quick game of 2 on 2. Everyone watches from the sidelines while you go head to head with Kobe.

-Which sparks another idea. The ability to have your CAP playing with the big boys in the hangar.

The hangar could possibly be a nice hub for a "street" kind of mode. I don't know just brain storming at the moment

-Legends would be cool, but I imagine it would be too much work because we would expect you to get all their sig moves as well as all the current players. Way too much work for one year. Maybe just one legends team. That's only 12 legendary iconic players... That's doable. It'd be fun putting Ewing back into the Knicks line up to see what happens. Aw man, Patrick Ewings post game... Now there's a challenge for your mocap people.

How cool would be be to introduce your new revamped post game with teasers of Dwight vs Ewing, Timmy vs Olajuwon, ...and finally Shaq vs Kareem... (or should it be Wilt?)

I know the direction you are going in is "what's happening now" but there's some ideas for ya. I think It'd be a fun addition.

Waaay more stat overlays. College Hoops 2K8 did this perfect, there was a constant bottom line and every time there was a stat recorded it flashed it and gave you their total for the game. So every bucket it'd say: Chandler: 22 points, Duhon: 7 assists.

Less PG dominance.

After a score, the cpu PG almost always carries the rock up...

Guys like Lebron, Kobe etc play off ball while Mo Williams and D-Fish initiate the plays.

1. TV style presentation like ncaa basketball 10. with ESPN and maybe TNT and ABC

2. Import draft class from ncaa basketball

3. Career stats for each player. this has been missing for a long time now.

1. Animations, Animations, Animations... Get everyone Sig'd up! From Freethrows, to Dunk packages, to Crossovers, Spin moves.
2. Facial tech from FN4
3. Better cloth physics for the Jersey's
4. Rebuild the Arenas. The Courts looks fantastic but the Arenas don't feel alive and like I'm in them like 2k does.
5. Make the Referee's as detailed as the Player and make them interact more.
6. Better Ball and Rim physics. I want to see incredible stuff like the ball hitting the top of the basket and falling in.
7. A lot of little things. Players on opposing benches trying to distract the shooter. Real time player intro's. Animated charatcer singing the National Anthem in the finals lol. The works!!!

P.S. Remeber the Comp is MLB: The Show 09 not 2k10. They should be the Blueprint for all Sports games.

I'd love it if my players had the same ability to hit contested shots as the CPU players seem to.

Also, that'll be quite enough of one CPU player standing there for 23 seconds with the ball before jacking up a long 3. (I seriously had Galinari or however you spell it hit one of those from the half court circle today. God that was infuriating.)

Career stats for everyone
realistic stats in dynasty mode
Better rim detection on dunks.
Be able to sim game play by play and jump in.
better dunks

A full tutorial and practice mode so new users like me can learn how to perform plays/moves. This review says it best (from 1up.com)

"One of the lures and drawbacks of sports sims are their loyal audiences. Many players purchase their beloved football, basketball, and baseball titles year after year. Sadly, one of the consequences of this is that the developers create content exclusively for these players; new players aren't especially welcomed by the intimidating button combinations. What could cure this? A tutorial mode would help. It took trial-and-error for me to feel comfortable with the revamped pick-and-roll, and even after a lot of practice in-game, I sometimes had trouble getting the right player to set the screen. I couldn't find a proper in-game tutorial;"

Although I can grasp the pick-n-roll in the 2 v 2 scenario in dynasty mode, it's more difficult in an actual game. I find that playing as Steve Nash, Amare doesn't always cut to the hoop. Sometimes he goes to the 3-point line which doesn't help matters. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I'd like a robust training mode so I don't have to wonder if it's me or not.
