Shot control and dribble moves

This is my first live since 06 and i'm loving it. The thing that i 'm having trouble with so far are shot control and dribble moves. Also does anyone know what the go to moves are?

Don't have much on the dribbling but I'm sure somebody will be able to help. And I know you didn't ask for passing but it may show you somethings you didn't know about.

The biggest thing for dribble moves IMO is do not hold turbo. I find I can rarely get by a guy when I'm holding turbo and using the R-stick. I'm just using the R-stick I can get by defenders I should be able to get by almost every time.

The more I get comfy with Live the less I use turbo. Unless I'm pushing the rock up the court or trying to dunk I never use turbo, especially at any point in the half court set.

I play the same way. But when I see an opening I explode with the turbo button. GREAT GAME!

Thanks for the advice. I was getting really frustrated with this. I think EA puts the turbo button on the games just to screw with us. Ive noticed that turbo messes you up on Madden and FIFA too. Ive just gotta get out of the habit of holding it.

Yep only use turbo when trying to lay the ball up in traffic or on fastbreaks anywhere else and it can result in a lot of T.O.'s
