Guys I think we may not all completely understand how exactly the GLOBAL ROSTER EDIT feature works....if it works the way I think it works, or if it works the way I think it SHOULD work, then it should actually work with DNA updates AND carry over from season to season with all new rookies in your Franchise mode.

The TEAM GLOBAL ROSTER editor should simply apply the additions or reductions to a players already established Ratings AFTER the fact. Almost the way the Game Sliders work. Its just globally amplifying or decreasing the ratings that already exist in a players DNA or Attributes for the entire team.

Do you guys follow what Im trying to say?

unfortunately I dont think this will work as I thought in Franchise Mode....I just tested it simply by making a roster trade with another team I didnt edit and it never applied the Global edit to the new player, so with that said...I dont think it would work to apply these global edits to rookies in your franchise....so its a one and done season thing


its a shame because if it worked the way GAME SLIDERS worked and just APPLIED the GLOBAL RATINGS edit on top of the players existing RATINGS, then this would actually work with all DNA updates and new rookies in your Franchise, season after season. Its a shame EA didnt simply program the GLOBAL Player RATINGS to allow this....it would be a much more flexible way to make global edits without conflicting with DNA updates and new players season after season.

Is anyone else having issues with instant replay after adjusting the agility? It doesn't work at all and when I use the the normal ratings it works fine. Just wondering if anyone else had that problem 2.

tomba figured it out...I think he has played a lot of games to come to the result of putting it to 40

True you can go 20 or even 0 but...it starts to harper OTHER animations...

Wow, what a difference. I no longer feel like I am helpless on defense. Smooth movements from both sides of the ball. I can transition and be able to stay in front of the ball handler.

I must say I'm impressed...just played 12 min quarters Warriors at Magic and lost 95-84...both teams had 6 blocks, I had 17 turnovers to their 11...everything went pretty well...I didn't get blown past on D except for a few times which was bad D on my part...

so lowering the game speed is not the same.

Also we have to do a edit on each player?

FF you can globally edit each team's players at the same time

This has nothing to do with player speed as it is their ability to make quick cuts and stuff.

Kobe was at a 97 which was likely way too high for him anyway

Tomba, this is a great find but unfortunately it's useless for Franchise Play....it will only work for one single season

Its a shame because it seems to help smooth out gameplay...perhaps EA can somehow incorporate a scaled version of your findings in their patch.

(Altho I must say, this patch list is growing awfully large)

Just re-edit if it changes the agility back for another season

As I said, it will be best if EA does this on their side...but I dont see how its useless

I didnt say its useless...period. I said its useless for franchise play. Who wants to have to edit all the teams each season...who's gonna do that??

That said, this is why I said EA has to do this...but again we have to see the patch and if it even works with it...but im not sure why it wouldn't.

Noone wants to edit each team.. its just something you do if you want to play like that in the meantime. I just do team by team in my franchise that I started as they come up on the schedule... as far as all teams I did a seperate save to use it when I feel like it.

Again, EA has to do it though.

Ahh 23, I like your approach on doing it little by little as you play each team in the league...that would make it much more digestable. So I guess then that means you can make Global Roster Player Edits even AFTER you launch your Franchise?.....Most games seem to lock this down from edits once you create your franchise

Yeah and I agree, EA should look at tweaking the Agility of players permanently across the board to get better more realistic player movement in this game.
