Tried it out and wow, what a difference. So glad to see the players dont glide around like ice skaters. Thanks so much for finding out about this Tomba!

Yes, we could easily do this (or something similar) "permanently" on the server side if everyone agrees that it significantly improves the gameplay.

I'll try it out tonight as well when i test my patch build.

cool tell us how it turns out i just did a game like that between 2 teams and it was sweet nba live development team..... good job this year guys.

Isn't that going to make the colliding shots nearly impossible to go in or maybe the hop/euro steps and spins not work?

I'll check it out right quick with 2 teams anyway.
Not noticing a HUGE difference but there seems to be a little something to it.

This is supposed to reduce sliding? That was already signifcantly reduced when I put the speed slider down. Guess that's why I don't notice a huge difference.

Woooooowwwww!!! That def made a diff. I did it for Chicago and The Heat and played a game to test it. It makes things slower which makes the animations a little clearer. I'm also able to steal inbound passes a little better. I mean it may not happen as much in real life, but this is a video game lol. I like a little over exaggeration on the # of steals and blks time to time.

It doesn't make it arcadeish for the record. It just allows certain things like speed to flourish a little more. I'm still losing due to bad plays but the game is noticibly more enjoyable. I can't quite put my finger on it.

You might have to give up on DNA but what happens here is amazing. EVERY player becomes more natural looking when they move up and down the court!

Go into edit team ratings and edit EVERYONES global agility to 40. Meaning either go up or down to 99 first and get zero\'d out. the once at zero for everyones global agility simply go to 40. BOOM.

MAN does this work. this year the player ratings have change and REALLY matter to the animation triggering(my TM)

I just tried it with the Knicks and Nets and then played them against each other ( I controlled the Knicks)

I dunno....I didnt see much of a difference between player movements in comparison to how they felt before the edits. Just to make sure I wasnt missing something special, I then switched and played with one of the teams that I didnt make these global changes and played with them against the Knicks (with the changes) to see if there was a difference between the 2 teams that was noticeable.

I guess, it seemed like the Knicks had less ankle breaking crossover moves, but Im not even sure....is this right?


Also, perhaps I am not seeing as drastic a difference because I use my Game Slider with the Player Speed adjusted down to about 5 to 7 clicks under the Middle Default setting. Maybe this masks a little bit of the effects?

I think I just see a more subtle realistic game with the Game Speed Slider down a few notches now that I think of it....Everything doesnt look so fast and over the top

Hey will any slider fix those awful looking velcro hand Pass interceptions or the unrealistic CPU shot BLOCKS that seem to happen far too often on Jump Shots....(when was the last time a real NBA player had their Jump Shot completely blocked the way the CPU seems to frequently do in this game?)

Yeah DarkFudge I think the difference is best noticed with the out of the box settings and Just changing the agility after. Everything else default though... and Tomba or anyone who already did all 30 plus teams. Can't we just put it up for the community to dload in a locker as mentioned before?...

So Tomba do you use this in conjunction with your slider set or just base? I see you have some sliders also, you use this with these? Could that also be why some people are seeing different results because you may be using your slider set?
