This is driving me nuts too. I'll score 2 or 3 baskets in a row without much resistance, then after that I'll almost always have my dribble poked away and the AI is never called for reach ins.

I have a question, how do you poke the ball away like the CPU does? I always just grind against their body and force them back but it seems as the CPU strips you and I have yet to get an on ball steal like that besides when they are sizing up.

No... it's not just on the spin moves, If I hold the right analog stick right for that hesitation dribble then go left with a weak/decent ball handler the defender dives on the ground and pokes it away. Yet I have never done this before even when guarding someone online.

is it me or is this nuts? you drive thru the lane the ball gets poke, no special moves/dribble drive thru the lane it gets poke.

half court pg spin move it gets poke.

Lmao I've always felt there was a lack of fouls... But I've seen no poking but, I have noticed players randomly dropping the ball when rushing to the paint no contact they'll just drop it :-|

I love poke  Seriously, you can drive almost at will, but scoring a basket or setting teammates for a bucket is difficult, but rewarding.

When you drive more, you get more turnovers. This is realistic. Guys like Kobe, LeBron, Wade averages roughly around 3 TO's per game (give or take), because they have the ball in their hands most of the time. Same goes for the game.

Cheesing ends here in Live 10, you gotta think twice before doing anything. Just like real basketball.

The poking used to frustrate me a little but after getting some more games in you start to learn the angles, learn when its a good situation to drive and when it isn't. I love it now.

When i play against teams like Lakers and Spurs; i can sense the intense in the paint, it's like they are waiting for you to come in and make you pay for that and i set my mind and my playcalling accordingly. You can't always get under the rim with ease, you gotta work around to find an opening, when you do it, you'll be rewarded.
