Live 10 = Jumpshot Simulator

I've never played a game where it is so satisfying to come off a pick to spot up for a midrange jumper. The success is based off individual DNA ratings, meaning real shot %. I've been a huge 2k fan over the last 10 years, but this year live can't be exploited. Whoever, wants some get at me, gamertag - LiVorio on xbox360.

Hitting j's in this game definitely feels rewarding. Having that good release is everything.

i have yet to shoot 40% from the floor, J are tough for me dont know why ...

need more practice i guess

Picking a play where Rip Hamilton comes off a screen and sets for a mid range jumper is pure bliss!

Live's signature shots are really well done. Much better than 2K in my opinion. Rashard Lewis, Ray Allen, LeBron, Rip (as mentioned), Arenas, etc...

I'm not even a big fan of the Piston's, but I find myself picking them quite a bit.

I agree with ya'll, the shooting feels really solid and rewarding. I can win in a hoop game vs humans now since you just can't go sprinting around like they're playing NBA hangtime/Jams.

Good job EA, work mostly on gameplay one mo year and iron out the post game and player footing on D.

I'm starting to feel this "reward for getting open and nailing a J. I just started playing over the last couple of days. Am I understanding that the reason I don't see mid, short or 3 point ratings under rosters is because ALL shooting is based on the DNA? That's awesome. If Ray Allen is in rythym and hot, then Ray Allen is on fire in the game.

Agree 100%. Reason I could not stop playing the demo and bought the game for a change. This is something sliders will never cover with each individual player and why DNA should be used in other games as well.

I agree with the shooting being fluid but I just can't get why Dwyane Wade mid range jumper is rated higher then Ray Allen...

I do agree. Shooting the ball in LIVE 10 feels so much better than any basketball game used to be..

i could just playing in hanger and constantly shoot the ball in all kinds of fashion.

NBA 2K10 still fails badly when it comes to shoot the ball in motion.
