Unfortunately I wouldn't know as I don't use Xbox Live as I get rosters etc from here at OS. But at least this fix works.

Yes it does, from what I've read it deletes all game updates. I guess they can be downloaded again.

I also had this problem last time I played Live (saturday).

I'll probably just wait for a hopeful patch. It's these types of things that keep the game from being top tier imo. I'm sure for some it's not that big of a deal and it really isn't for me but it is a simple feature that should work flawless, no excuses because it was a problem last year and the developers were aware of the problem.

Arden05 since i told you about clearing the cache i've had it happen to me 2 more times. i had to clear my cache 2 more times to play the game.

I think it's going to be an ongoing problem. so hopefully it can be solve by the dev team in the 1st patch.

note: also each time my problem started after i saved a fiba championship tourny and saved replays to my hard drive. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

skywalker-clearing the cache erase all your game updates. But it does not delete you game saves, downloadable content for games such as madden AFL pack. i still had it after i cleared my cache

Note: I took the hard drive out of my xbox and played the game and it has no lag / such as menu or hangar lags when you enter into quick game. so i don't know what the deal is. maybe theres a code in the game that doesn't jive with an Microsoft update or hard drive.

Old hard drives, or ones with read/write problems will sometimes have this problem. We put a setting in to turn replay saving off if you are having issues.

darn, problem is i like to save replays. I don't have any problems with any other game tho. Madden 10 NHL 10 NCAA football 10 or any of the 09 titles nba live 09 ncaa basketball 09 etc. man this sucks. thanks for the info

Note to iminurbase: also i'm not having replay issues by the way, i'm having the stutter issues during game play where it would pause for a brief second or 2 for a few mins

I got a quick fix for everyone that has a memory card for now until maybe a patch if they can fix it.

well if you're not into saving replays. you can simply turn off the replay buffer off and that will take care of the stutter and pause high lights problem.

If you like to save your replays heres how you can fix it for now.

Put your nba live 10 profile on a memory card. when you load up your nba live 10 it'll say that theres more than 1 nba live 10 profile on storage devices. It'll ask you what storage device you want to load off. pick your memory card. Once that is then the game will processes off your memory card instead of your hard drive and all the pause and stuttering and replay problems are gone. when you save each replay just switch your save device to hard drive if your memory card memory is too small. The game will still processes off your memory card after that. (so it seems) But it took care of the problem

so that answers the question of the old hard drives. I think the buffer for the replay system is taking the Hard drive for a spin. IF you play the game with no hard drive on your xbox everything is smooth as hell with no frame rate, menu lag, or stutter problems
