How do you do pick & rolls?

I am having trouble executing this play. Can someone give me some pointers? I am playing Live on a xbox 360 if that helps.

Hold down "B", then release when you want him to roll. Don't know how to pick and pop tho.

when holding down B hit the RT button it will show a diagram over the player performing the pick. when you hit the rt button the diagram changes to pick and roll to a fade
