The computer gets sooooooo many friggen offensive boards you get blocked so much in the paint when you're open. I contest a shot at the best of my ablilities and it still goes in. It's like i wasnt even there. Also when you back down there's a lot of offensive fouls called. I'm so pissed right now because i just lost 4 straight matches. Each 48 mins. I was celtics against the suns.

You gotta work on your rebounds manually don't let your cpu teammates to go for rebounds, try a little harder, select the rebounder get your body between the rim boxing out, and get your rebound, you gotta practice n work some more. To avoid the blocks first you gotta try to find the right angles at first if you can't then settle for a good open midrange j.
I'm not here to preach you at all, just to help you my firend, i was having the exact same problems in the first games but now i got better still i'm like 3-35/36 i don't know

What level are you playing on? I play on all-star and I get more o-rebs than the cpu. Last game cpu had 5 offensive boards and that was vs the magic(default sliders)Comment

I had the same problem. The thing that bothers me is when you contest a shot it goes in like it wasn't contested. They definitely need better detection of when a shot is being contested down low. That's my biggest problem. The contested shots down low go in way too often. I think they're working on the fouls thing in the patch... they are actually.
As far as rebounding , it has been an issue in Live for years on end...but its a tad better this year in that you have a bit more control over the rebounds.
