Free throws need an overhaul for 11

The free throw mechanics in Live 10 sucks, there's no feel to it. You hold the button till the meter fills the area and if you hit the good spot, you already know you'll make the free throw, no emotion whatsoever. Besides, made free throws are nothing but net, while the missed ones are really bad misses, the rim/ball interaction doesn't feel realistic. I hope the developers hear me and change it next year. My suggestion is to remove the meter altogether, and bind the release of the button to a point in the motion of the player's arms, for example when the ball reaches his forehead. Since every player will have its own style of taking a free throw, the release point will vary from player to player, and you won't know beforehand if you make it or miss it.
    Anyone has other suggestions?

How about a "Real FT %" option like in 2k, where the chance of making or missing the free throw is based off the players ft rating.

I want to be in control of my player when shooting, don't want to be the rating to decide a make or a miss. In fact in 2K I always play with that option OFF.

you can do this by going into the on the fly sub menu during your ft. the cpu will shoot it with the players real ft%

          Freethrows need an Overhaul

Post Game needs a definate overhaul, give more options for what we can do, there should be at least signature animaton to at least make it look different. sig hooks, leaners left/right, drop steps, up and unders, etc. IIRL you never know exactly what someone's going to do out if the post, it should be like that in the game too. Posting up is a staple of NBA basketball.

All Star Wekend needs an Overhaul

          Dynasty mode needs an Ovehaul

You guys got the gameplay down now, just add alot more variety t it and this game would be even better..

I totally agree, freethrows are a mess along with the rim physics when u miss. This is one time i wish they would copy exactly what 2k has or come up with something better.

A lot of things need to be overhauled. This was the Gameplay yr next yr no excuses. If they don't get it done, I'm done with Live. No hope. The game needs depth and better replication and representation the the NBA not the game of Basketball as a whole.
