as soon as the finals were over i said to myself (being a magic fan sence 1989 when the franchise has its first season) guess now when nba live 10 comes out everyone is gonnia be like o great hes useing the best team in the game...being a magic fan iam getting tired of playing nobody but the lakers or cavs online...is it my fault ive been a magic fan ever sence the donald royal, tree rolians, scott skiles...(i can go on) days??? it it my fault i like to use my team online???

I've played the a little over 20 online games and have only seen the Lakers once. I've played the Cavs maybe 2 times. But one of the times I played the Cavs I used th Warriors and I skinned the s*** outta Cleveland. If GS is your team, to hell with who they pick. Play with your team and play to your strengths and it won't matter who your opponent selects. You gotta think, most will try to force the issue with Kobe and Lebron and will turn it over. They will not play based on DNA.

Naw not your fault, but I'd say 95% of the people you play online that pick the Magic are not really Magic fans. Same with the Nuggets and Cavs.

Their really does need to be a system for the team you choose. The more stronger teams you pick the less amount of points you get the harder to move up the ranks. For people that choose teams like the Bucks or Timberwolves, they should be given more points.

Man play with whoever you want to play with. If I pick the Bobcats, I'm not gonna switch because you choose Orl, LAL or Clev.

Who were the other 17 teams? I can honestly say I have not played NOT 1, I repeat....NOT 1 OTHER TEAM than the Nuggets, Cavs, Lakers, Magic, Memphis that's it. I have not played any other team and I've played over 40 games now.

Allstar difficulty online is terrible, most people dont know much about basketball so they pick the same 4 teams over and over..

Yeah they need to have ranked games for online be SS. You would see a ton more turnovers that way because Bigs would lose the ball more. For some reason when I'm guarding bigs doing those crazy dribbles I can't trigger the same steal animation the CPU does.

Agreed 100%. Although it is expected that we will all have different contacts online, for the most part everyone I've come played against plays with a top team.

And for those of who you say "if such and such is your team, take your team, no matter who your opponent takes"....Maybe I'm not as good as you at this game, but I don't get ANY enjoyment out of taking the Warriors, or Clippers or any other low rated team, and getting beat down by my competition who took the Cavaliers and dunked his way to a win, despite the 2-3 defense plus perimeter defender I manually added to clog the paint with...

I get that hardcore fans will take their teams, which is fine. Unfortunately, there are way to many band wagon fans who just want to showcase a superstar and cheese their way to a win, which immediately makes me not want to play anyone who takes any top notch team, to my lower notch...Which is exactly why I don't want to take the Lakers, even though I'm a fan and live in LA. You can't blame me for that...But you can blame the cheesers who don't play by the "spirit" of the game.

Houston, Portland, Clippers, Knicks....that's off the top of my head.

I just hope fatigue will fix this problem since people won't be able to rely on the same player over and over and will have to eventually bench them as they get tired.

These are the teams I have used....Cleveland, Boston, Orl, Denver, Mia, Washington, Utah, GS, Phoenix, Memphis.

If the Sim lobby I saw is the same everyone is speaking on then what I see for difficulty over on the side is "any" so maybe thats why nobody enters.

This has been like this since the dreamcast days of online.

People just take the highest rated team in every game.

I dont recall saying anything about being shocked. Of course people will always take the best teams..That's not the point I was venting. My point is WHY would you CONSISTENLY take the best teams in the game, when your opponent takes an inferior/lower tier one...Competition goes out the door when you do that. It's very frustrating and nearly impossible to find anyone with the same standards as me, online.

I don't believe the sim lobby works. I've never seen more than 4 people in there, and even with that, none of them would play a game...They just stayed idle in there as I sent out game invites.
