Joel in this game its very possible for you to beat any team with any team. The Bobcats have a less talented team than the Lakers but they beat them twice last year. You can beat them with your skills and bball knowlegde. Ill go up against anybody with my Pistons. I just dont like playing the same teams over and over again.

If the Sim lobby I saw is the same everyone is speaking on then what I see for difficulty over on the side is "any" so maybe thats why nobody enters.

In the sim lobby the difficulty is on superstar.

But yea i refuse to play against the lakers and magic...I remember one game where i played the magic and jameer nelson went 15/28 behind the three point line. WTF YO....He can't even shoot that good in real life but in the game they got him shooting like reggie miller and thats some bulls***. All he did was runaround the three point line until he got a lil space then threw up a three. SOOOO FRUSTRATING!! I done played so many games like that it makes me not want to play online anymore b/c nobody plays the right way.

Does it say it on the right side of the screen? From what I see for difficulty it says ANY.

It says skill level any but when you go in and create a session the difficulty is on superstar and you can't change it. so all games are played on superstar.

Actually I think the Lakers may be 0 for their last 4 against the Bobcats. But you are thinking the same thing that I am thinking. You can beat any team with any team on this game as long as you are doing your DNA scouting properly. I will not take anyone lightly because of the team they pick. For all I know you could have perfected that teams strengths and jump shots and could probably skin me alive no matter what team I use. Man if you like the warriors, stick with them and perfect them and take on the world. That team has some cold blooded scorers and it should not be hard to beat teams. Again, I used them against the Cavs and won.

I guess I'll just concede that I must not be very good at this game...And I know you're right... I know my way around a basketball court and I've had a few games where I have beat teams like the Lakers with a team like the Knicks.....But it's so few and far between.

played some tool this morning that used Detroit. Guy shot nothing but 3's with Gordon..i think his stat line was like 19/34..absolutley rediculous. i had him double teamed and he was still driilling them..ended up loosing the game by 2 points. then the guy bragged at how good he was. what a joke

played a guy names "v chacaron"....Cheese to the max. Fade away 3's, tried to lob every other possession and only scored with Durant. Avoid this guy.

LOL @ this thread this game is made for the pickup and cheese type hence taking out ranked club games for Adidas live run where you can pick you fav player.GT is Hood CHAMP 330 I play a lot online I play sim. But Dont start no cheese wont be no cheese

In this day and age unless you're using exploits (go to moves, step back jumpers) there is no such thing as cheese. There was this one cat who I just played who used a 2-3 zone the whole game. I kept taking my big man (beasley 15-22 for the game) and running him right down the middle, hitting him for the dunk. I paused it once I realized I had done this about 4 times in a row and I sent him a message, "Dude, the zone is killing you" and he still didn't change. I felt bad and hit some jumpers just to not seem too bogus, but overall I just POUNDED HIM inside. So, no whining about cheese...

Now, to answer the question... I started out with GSW, then I tried NOH, then I tried PHX and OK then I am settled on Miami. I love Miami because they have bigs that can rebound but can move. You don't need height anymore like you did last year... you need bigs who can shoot and won't lose the ball inside (imo.) I go Mario @ pg, Wade at SG, throw Q at the 3, Beas at the 4, and, of course, JO at center.

These are the teams people usually pick in vs or in teamplay: LAL, CLE, DEN (a lot of people pick them... ) ORL. I've found Orl, Cle, and Lal are 'auto win' teams... meaning that you get at least a 10 point handicap. Denver just is stacked, has mobile bigs, and great players at all 5. I've tried every team once (in teamplay)... and they are all fun to use. People really just lack flavor... and a lot of people haven't figured out the game enough to compete without a handicap.

The first week before anyone knew about the step back 3 it was not a problem playing the cavs, celtics, lakers, magic etc... I was able to beat these teams. Once the step back 3 gets patched it will be fun again to play online.

Again...I am not seeing people use LAL...maybe I'm just lucky. I also haven't had to deal with the step back 3 but I'm sure it's coming. I'm going to hate that because I am having a lot of fun playing this game. I just ran with GSW and Utah and won both pretty good. Again, I study the DNA and use the strengths.

I don't know how you've run this long and haven't played those teams yet. God knows how many games I backed out of when my opponent took one of those teams, TODAY. I can't even keep track anymore...Seriously. Tried the Wizards today and I'm having the same problem as the other guy who takes them...Can't hit jack! Knowing those release points is vital! To bad there isn't a meter in shootaround that shows when the release is "perfect" "good" "late" or "bad". I think 2k has this already..Maybe an idea for next year?
