    three questions regarding difficulty settings

As I see in this forums there are many people who play on pro difficulty and others who play on allstar or superstar.

My problem is, that in my opinion the gap between pro and allstar is to big. I'm winning all games on pro and I'm losing most games on all star. This is quite frustrating.

I really tried to improve on all star, but I can't handle the cpu runs and the lack of help from my cpu controlled teammates.

    Questions:

    1. To those who play pro: Have you ever lost a game? If you play a dynasty/season whats your record?

To those who play all star:

    2. do you think that the cpu has an advantage and have you adapted to this? Or do think think that the game is well balanced and the cpu has no advantage at all?

    3. Would you call your games realistic?

I play on all-star, my thoughts on it.

the cpu does seem to have an advantage with foul calls & getting loose balls (i never get them). but really that's it i feel. to make things more realistic it does take some tweaking though.

for me I raised user hands in the post & defensive rebounding all the way. lowered cpu interception all the way.

I raised contact shot % some for both me and the cpu. I can't tell you how much better contact shot animations are after that, before it seemed like everyone just threw it like a football, now it's much much better.

I was getting beat regularly until recently. and last night I finally defeated a team much better than me. playing in dynasty mode at the Nets (did make some trades, i traded for troy murphy & francisco garcia), I defeated the Magic last 102-93. I ended the game on a 8-0 run. It was a really fun game even though Howard & Lewis struggled for them and I'm sure next time I won't be so lucky.

As far as stats go, I get very realistic results. I play 12 minute quarters. I only use the Center on Defense. I've yet to finish above 50% shooting for a game (i am playing as the nets though). The CPU has never gotten above 55% against me. User fouls are low though. turnovers, FT %, Defensive rebounds are about right. Offensive rebounds with the computer seems eratic- sometimes they'll pull down 10-15, the next game just a couple (game against the magic they had just two).

My biggest complaint is probably 3 pointers by the cpu, good 3 pointing teams like the magic simply don't take enough. Hopefully when I play my 2 dynamic seasons it'll be alot more realistic.

Overall I'm really happy with the stats. no dud of a player as scored a big game against me, and superstars usually get their points. as far as the user, my best game with Harris was 34 points, my worse 13 (I was like 4-17 against the magic). My best with an ok player was 22 by garcia against the magic. which is funny because the game before he was 2-13 and I started T Williams instead against the Magic, I guess he wanted back in the starting linup.

      Hi seermagic

      Thanks for your reply.

Which sliders have you tweaked? default?

maybe I should put some sliders to maximum too, because the effect is so little. Maybe I adjusted them too little.

Why lower CPU interception? I think it's fine the way it is.

I play on PRO. I've played around 5 games so far with my new slider set and I just had a great game, me using Lakers vs the Hawks. Came down to a last second shot attempt which didn't go down for me and I lost 96-94. I'll upload my sliders if anybody wants to use them as base to tweak to your own liking. On ps3 BTW.
