Finally figured out how to throw the alley

On a consistent basis.

Just as how you chose who you want to set the pick, when your about to throw the alley you have to flick the L stick in the direction you want to throw alley. So if you have 2 players down by the rim, one on the right and one on the left of the rim, and you want to throw to the one on the right, you'll have to flick the L stick towards the basket and to the right. If the white circle is underneath a player on the wing when you press the alley button it's gonna throw it to that player.

Wasn't like this in Live 09 as you could just throw the oops and it would go to the guy you wanted to maybe 90% of the time. Now you gotta kinda control it yourself. I like it this way.

thats alright but it's still something wrong about the whole alley oop system...it just don't look realistic to me and when they do catch an alley it don't knock me out my seat and get me hyped....this morning i was playing and i threw an alley on a fastbreak and j.r. smith dunked it all soft...c'mon now he posed to smashed it down....

Don't want to compare the games but when i play 2k and everytime i throw an alley it gets me out of my seat....I think 2k got the alley's right from the way the player throw it and the way the other player take off and the dunk is more exciting along with the crowd getting hyped when it happens.

If live can make the alley's look better and make the player take off realistically and make the dunk sound entertaining. Its too many times when you throw an alley the player stops and jump straight up instead of jumping towards the goal. very annoying... PLEASE FIX THIS EA.

Agreed the competitors (2K) rim detection on dunks/oops is pretty awesome

Alleys in this game are pretty dull..but thanks for the tip!
