    Shooting PCTs DNA done wrong?

If, according to his DNA, a player shoots 50% with his jump shots, EACH jump shot should have that 50% chance.

I don't think that's how they set it up for the CPU though.

I think that the CPU will make adjustments late to make sure the players get close their overall DNA pct. Meaning, if a 50% guy is 1-8, it's likely he'll make his next 5 in a row. And that's wrong.

EACH shot should have that 50% chance.

Like flippijng a coin. It's a 50/50 chance of heads or tail EACH time. EVERY time. If you HAPPEN to flip heads 8 times in a row, the odds of flipping tails does NOT increase on the 9th flip.

It should be the same way in the game.

PS - I hope I'm wrong and that the pct IS the pct, period. But it seems to me that the CPU 'adjusts' later in the game.

when it says 50% w/ jumpshots, i'm pretty sure it means the player scores 50% of his points w/ jumpshots, dont think thats the shooting % for jumpshots, i may be wrong though, it shows a ton of %'s so yeah, i might be misunderstanding what ur sayin.

i am not 100% certain but from my editing those shooting dna numbers are not how much they will make its the % or the type of shot they will take

ex. if you raise it to 60% for mid range the player will pull up for more mid range shots and pass up 3's and close shots...

No it has both tendencies as well as their actual shooting percentages.
