    Dynasty Progress Thread

I didn't see a thread here made for people playing dynasty mode. The 2K board has a nice thread going with people posting trades they've made, stats, and everything related to how their season is going. Figured I'd make one here.

Started a dynasty with the Wizards for a nice challenge. (I'm playing with L4D's Pro Sliders.)

Made some changes before hand to try to help out the team. First, I got rid of Brendan Haywood and DeShawn Stevenson. Haywood just doesn't cut it for me as a big man and Stevenson is in a very crowded position for the Wizards. At SG we have Mike Miller and Randy Foye. Can't afford to have Stevenson play little minutes for $3 Million.

    Trade:
    C B. Haywood
    SG D. Stevenson

    For: (Sixers)
    C. S. Dalembert
    SF B. Bowman (rookie)

    Starting Rotation:
    PG: G. Arenas
    SG: M. Miller
    SF: C. Butler
    PF: A. Jamison
    C: S. Dalembert

Anyways, we ended up getting killed by the Mavs in the first game. Score was 101-91 but the score doesn't show how bad we were losing the entire game. Finally scored some serious points against the Mavs' backups at the end. Next game against Atlanta.

Anyone else have some good dynasties going?

I'm 6-4 so far in a fantasy draft knicks franchise

      Starters

      C: Andries Biedrens
      PF: Tim Duncan
      SF: Stephen JAckson
      SG: Michael Redd
      PG: Steve Blake

      Bench

      SG: Raja Bell
      PG: Johnny Flynn
      SF: Ryan Gomes
      PF: Tyler Hansborough
      C: Hasheem Thabeet
      SF: Gerald Green
      C: Eric Curry

      I love this team.

Redd is averaging 22 PPG. He poured in 32 points vs a pretty tough team which had Ray Allen running the point, along with Paul Pierce, James Posey, Jermaine O'Niell, and MArcus Camby.

Biedrens is putting in just shy of a double-double..averaging just under 9 points and close to 11 boards a game.

Duncan is putting up exactly 20 PPGs, about 9 boards a game and 5 assists, as he gets doubled and I send spot up shooters to the open spots, and cutters towards the hoop.

Jax is my "Mr. Do Everything". Gives me good defense, and I can swing him from SF to SG. and I can use him as point forward also. He's really versatile.

Thabeet is an utter monster on the defensive end.

Hansborough is a pretty decent low post scorer also.

My 2nd backcourt, gives me the defense that my starting backcourt lacks.

      pretty solid team, overall.

I want to know why people are saying that. Dynasty seems fine to me, but then again I don't have to have every little stat perfect in order for me to enjoy the game.

I heard progression was good, and the CPU trade logic seems alright. I don't know how the draft is yet but it can't be worse then Madden or some other games.

Just have to see what happens.
