More thoughts on Live Run/Team Play:

I hope this doesn't get closed, but I really feel the need to say this again... and again. Everyone who I have talked to (and continue to talk to) thinks Live Run is a horrible addition to NBA Live Online and does not understand why ranked team play was taken out. I always encourage them to 'make their opinion known', but as you can guess, many of them either don't believe that someone would listen or are too lazy.

On top of that, there is still a problem in unranked team play with people purposely messing up your games. The 'friend only' rooms are cool, but I don't understand why at this point they do not have a 'kick' button for unruly people that continue to follow you and mess up your games.

How do people mess up games? Well, one of the simplest (and most annoying) ways to mess up a game is to keep pressing select. Most people who have played team play know of this. On offense, it will call time outs and on defense it will intentional foul. It is basically the all-purpose f*** up the game button.

Another way is to just come into a game and sit in the middle. Sure, in the end, the game will start, but it's very annoying to watch the clock tick off as someone plays music, talks s***, freestyles, or just camps. Again, this would be solved simply by a boot button.

I'm looking for co-signs... so do it. And I implore the mods not to close this so that the producers can read, respond, and the Live online gaming community can back me up (hopefully.)

i agree 100%....marcus knows i hate live run cause we was going back and forth about it on twitter and i suggested a boot button before the game came out but obviously it didn't make it in.

I hope next year clubs is back to normal and not this live run crap...I also hope they let us be able to boot people like you mention above cause that would be soooo helpful.

My vote is for live run to be taken out.

I don't think Live run should be taken out, but why did it replace club?

I'd say to all of the devs who thought Live Run was a good idea... get online and play some of the people who are 'good' at it.

1s and 2s, bad idea. You wanted the beauty of a pick up game? You got a three point shooting contest. No fouls, bad idea. You wanted non-stop action? You got an attention deficit swipe-fest. Pick any player? Bad idea. You wanted people to choose their favorite player and have fun, but you got even more cookie-cutter bull.

You see, in video game basketball, superstars are great, but mostly you define players by their role (shooter, inside stopper... etc. Remember 2006? It's really like that), since this is street ball to 21, there is no reason to do anything but shoot 2s. Not to mention that most games to 21 are 'must win by 2.'... something you guys forgot to include.

Mo Williams and Kobe... Mo runs around in circles while Kobe sets moving picks to free him for three. Great, great fun.
