    Why? Why? Why?

Why do I continue to get penalized for good shots and the CPU continues to get rewarded for bad ones.

I've been playing on All Star default, which is tough enough. When I manage to hang around in a good game, the same things continue to happen.

I try and be patient, work it around, inside out, wide open shooter.....CLANK.

CPU! one pass, turn around fade from deep...NETS

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the challenge, it's just working my nerves

Tell me about it. It seems like in the 4th quarter, the CPU takes a ton of shots in the paint with about 3 defenders draped over the shooter and they still manage to go in. It's very frustrating.

Since I'm new to Live and far from a good player, I'm thinking about dropping the difficulty down to pro just to have some more fun and maybe work my way back to All star difficulty.

I'd seriously recommend trying Pro level with left4dead's sliders. In my opinion it makes the game much more realistic and you don't see those cheesy shots by the cpu.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give it a shot. Too bad Live's sliders don't have numbers and you can't easily download slider sets.

Tell me about it. Such a small thing like numbers on the sliders would have made a huge difference.

This crap is prevalent on all-star default.
And how about all those defensive rebounds that go right through your hands to the opposition, who immediately score?

I have tried my best to like all-star default, but I just can't. It is way too messed up.
