I know you can do off ball control, but I don't particular care for it myself. Would like to just be able to call for a cutter. As of now if I have a player posting up and the user comes over to manually double off of someone that's not a shooter, the offensive player on my team just stands there instead of cutting to the basket.
I've been using the Spurs and far too many times Duncan and Mcdyess will be outside on the perimeter when one or the other is posting up. And far too many times the C and PF are bunched up on the same side on the same block down in the post, especially when I call for Duncan to post up. Believe this to be a glitch as well as it was in the Demo too.
Beluba can you explain to me how the lose the ball works, what it's based off of? I mean when Rashard Lewis can just keep crossing over all over the court and never lose the ball, but I can drive with Parker and he loses it, or Duncan in the post and he loses it. I'm just trying to figure out what it's based off of. Dude I was playing crossed up the CPU controlled player with D.Howard out on the perimeter and went in for a slam. I really just think crossover and size ups need to be stripped from the post up players and players that don't dribble like that period.
You guys have such a good foundation of a game it just takes away from it with this stuff. And can you explain how the alleys work as well. Many times when I play someone they'll come out and try to double me out on the perimeter and I have a guy right at the basket lined up perfectly for an alley but he'll jump and the pass will just sail out of bounds. What is this based off of as well as far as completing them?
And is it possible to up the reach calls for online. I would just like a realistic game and it's a pain to have someone just mashing down on the steal button with no risk at all for fouls. No one ever fouls out. We need to see fouls be a crucial part of the game now. And if someone is just mashing on the steal button, there should be a heavy price for that. If you look at a real nba game, just 1 reach in is a foul 95% of the time. You have to really choose when you go for a steal, you can't just keep reaching, reaching, reaching, reaching, reaching, reaching, reaching, reaching until your successful. There needs to be an opening, steals are based off of reaction and timing.
Hopefully you guys see this and can answer my questions. Would be greatly appreciated.
