Quick questions about Live.
Been a avid 2k fan for years now but I'm looking to try something new. How in depth is franchise? Is there D-League? Are sim stats legit? How is the 2010 free agency? I can understand Lebron and Wade staying put but I hate that Bosh and Amare always stay in 2k. And most importantly of all, is defense in paint actually good!? I just can't enjoy Nba 2k right now, would love to get Live today after classes.

Re: Quick questions about Live.
The Dynasty Mode in Live is not as in-depth as 2k. 2K has the rights to d-league, but Live has the rights to FIBA teams. I don't know the answer to the other questions, however, Live does have Dynamic Season, which combines your dynasty with real life stats and allows you to play any NBA games from that day or the past. From what I can tell, like NBA Today in 2K, only meshed in with a Dynasty. That doesn't start until opening night, but you can play rewind games from last season. No preseason games though.
Hope this helps. -
Re: Quick questions about Live.
I can't recommend Live to anyone who puts high value in franchise mode. It's not even a quarter of the way developed as 2k's. Live doesn't evn have in game injuries, only simulated ones.
I definitely wouldn't go running out to purchase it if franchise is that important to you. Rent it or borrow it from someone first.
Defense in the paint is solid in this game out the box.Comment

Could anybody please tell me if this game has Multi-Player Franchise mode? I was on my way out to get this, but this is a key issue, and I thought I should check.Comment

Re: Quick questions about Live.
I wish I could play my games in Live and run the franchise in 2K. I agree with you but I do say this. As bad as Live's franchise is next to 2K's remember you still have to "play to win the game" so even though the day to day tasks are better in 2K at some point during that franchise you gotta press "Tip Off" and thats where you get rewarded in Live.Comment
