Re: The Dynamic Season Thread: Dyn-O-Mite!

Regarding the roster update to fix players: it was supposed to go out last night, but there was a problem with the file. This will be moved to Monday night.

In terms of the Dynamic Season stats, we'll have a look. For me, I had 40 with Rose in their first game and he had 10 the other night. He is showing up as 25ppg. There may be some funny looking things when we get the games played updated before the box score. This kind of thing will correct itself the following day. We'll look though.

What kind of affect is this option having with adjusting the stats if you're not playing at 12 minute quarters? I played Portland's game against Denver and Oden had eight rebounds. He had 12 in the real life opener and his average now stands at 10.

I play on 10 minutes and the stats are pretty right on, but I also have this feature turned on. Will it just affect minutes?
After more than eight years on here, I finally figured out how to edit my time zone!

Can't really answer your question but IIRC stat scaling doesn't really do much stats wise when you're playing up around 10 minute quarters. Its more for 5 or 6 minute quarters (or less).

Starting at 10 min. quarters, stat scaling has no effect.

I'm finding it easier. Then again the Suns and Mavs (as Clips) don't play D and the Bobcats (as Knicks) DNA was probably based off the game they only scored 56 points in.

Yesterday's game was 98-84 Knicks and the real life one was 102-100 Bobcats. Only 2 points off on the Knicks score.

Mine has not been corrected out yet. I played both Laker games, one of which was last night. My stats are still wrong. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

I don't see what the problem is, the devs aren't around anymore. It's ironic that they have gone silent for the most part. I would have more respect for them if they just came out stating that certain issues cannot be fixed and they will try to fix them for next year. Otherwise, we all sit with a broken product and false promises.

Thank you Imunerbase for answering about the updated players... Just a quick question... Are all of the generic players replaced with their real counterparts? just wondering as I'm waiting for the updated Marcus Thornton and others to start up my dynasty... Great job your doing by being personable enough to answer all of the questions on here....

Thanks for the update. Looking forward to getting my dynasty started when there fixed.

Yes you have. And while the problems with the game are annoying, its much appreciated that you've been around to answer all of our questions and keep us up-to-date on the fixes.

dont even bother with guys like that.....

Per my post above about dynasty stats, I was playing 11 min quarters with scaling off and all my stats were off. But the Baron Davis stats i posted were actual NBA game stats that I did not play at all, they should be correct just based on the actual games?

Anyhow, great job by your team, the game is awesome, and most importantly is fun to play.

While this may be true about a certain other EA Sports lead team member, it doesn't hold water here. I have seen these guys on the forums answering questions just about every night since release.

Being a 33 year old guy, I absolutely love the interaction between this site and the team members from all the sports studios, I remember having to buy a game based on a few magazine pictures and a crummy article from EGM when I was a kid. Now we get interactive banter with the actual developers of these games and sometimes they even implement things we suggest, we get to demo the games weeks before release most of the time(which led me to buy Live over 2k this year btw), and the level of realism in graphics are getting scary good.

Bottom line, it's a great time to be a sports gamer, lets not ruin it by being jerks to these guys, I am sure they could make the game just as easily without interacting with us.
