    Thanks.
Yeah, all of that stuff is part of the DNA Roster.

When are the ratings going to be updated with the DNA? And are they going to be updated daily or with the weekly manual roster update?

Re: The Dynamic Season Thread: Dyn-O-Mite!

Not really digging the dynamic season, I want to but out of my 2 experiences thus far, it's been a dud to me.

Game #1. Last week Channing Frye had a game where he made his first 6 three pointers. I put this game on, Channing Frye missed every 3 he took, all of them open. I took control of him, brought him to the wing to make sure he was open, and thunk! Turned it off after about 5 minutes.

Game #2. Just got done attempting the Phoenix v Celtics classic that took place on Friday. Anyone who saw the game watched Jason Richardson hit his first 6 three-pointers (similar to my first game above) - many of them contested or at least while being guarded. In the dynamic season game he started 1 for 4 in 3-point shooting and I turned the console off.

So you turned the game off because you missed some shots?

The stats are still not correct. Go to NBA.com and then compare them to your Dynamic Season and tell me if they are right. Mine are certainly wrong, I have only played the Celtics-Cavs game from opening night. Here is what im seeing as compared to real life.

            My season: NBA.com
            PPG.
            Melo 34.0 Bryant 33.6
            Bryant 32.4 Melo 31.4
            Martin 30.6 Martin 30.6
            Bosh 29.5 Bosh 28.5
            Wade 27.8 Wade 28.0

            APG:
            Dynamic NBA.com
            Nash 12.7 Nash 12.9
            williams 9.8 Wiliams 10.7
            Paul 9.0 Paul 9.7
Kidd 8.5 Rondo 9.0(this one doesnt matter cause of my celts game)
            westbrook 8.2 Westbrook 8.2
            Kidd 8.2

            RPG:
            Dynamic NBA.com
            Wallace 13.8 Wallace 13.8
            Bosh 13.2 Gasol 11.9
            howard 13.1 Duncan 11.8
            Duncan 12.2 boozer 11.6
            M Gasol 11.9 Bosh 11.6

Now granted some teams played last night and maybe that skewed the stats somewhat but Kobe and Melo didnt play last night and neither did Howard so I cant find the reason why the stats dont exactly match real life on these players? This whole dynamic season is built on real life stats but even after one game I found Baron Davis stats were all off?

not to mention my Celtics stats are all wrong as well after my Celtics game vs Cleveland and the other 7 games simulated in with the real life stats. My paul Pierce should be averging 19.4 but in my season he is at 21.4 ?

Shouldn't the stats just be uploading nightly into the game just as is from NBA.com? how can they be off if they are based on real life? I just dont see the point in the Dynamic season if the stats dont match, mine as well play a fictional dynasty and have fake stats.

I think you "overestimate" how DNA is suppose to work. Just because in one game a player hits 3's does not translate to when you replay the game the same thing will happen. DNA takes into account tendencies and trends up until that point that will have an influence on your shot success as well.

I've been kinda sleeping on this mode. I did the Grizz vs Pistons opener pre-patch and the rebounding pissed me off so I turned the game off. Gonna have to fire this back up tonight and try post-patch.

We don't use the shooting % from particular games. We could next year, but it seemed like guys wouldn't take enough shots in a game to get realistic percentages to use.

After teams have played 10 games Streaks will get turned on, so J-Rich will be on a hot streak for that game if you replay it in a week.

I played Dynamic Season last night for the first time after coming home from the Warriors/Timberwolves game...

                      Horrible experience ...

First of all my starting lineup was wrong. Biedrins is injured yet the game had him starting.

Next, Flynn got the start for the Wolves yet the CPU instantly subbed him out 1st dead ball and put in Sessions. Flynn plays the majority of the minutes. There's no rotation logic in this game. Is it based on ratings? It really takes away from the immersion aspect. I can't recreate the real life game if the CPU insists on it's own, unrealistic rotation.

Biedrins played the night before against the Kings; that is why he was in the daily DNA update yesterday. If you play the Rewind game today he will be correctly injured.

I hear you on the sub issue. It is based on ratings. We will be upping Flynn this week.

Same here, your feedback is much appreciated.

I know in 2K each player has a set amount of minutes he plays in the rotation. Does Live have something similar? Just because one player is better than another, doesn't mean he gets more minutes.

Let's say, for the sake of the argument, that Sessions is a better player than Flynn, yet Flynn will play more minutes because the Wolves have a youth movement going on and want to develop him. The only way Flynn plays over Sessions in the game is if you make him better than Sessions? That means your ratings become inaccurate in order to accommodate for a more accurate rotation.

The 2 items should be mutually exclusive. Is there a way this can get fixed this year? It's going to make the Dynamic Season pretty frustrating all year long especially mid-season when the bottom teams start benching their vets to give the young guys PT.
