Let me first start by saying that I do not suck and I play good D. I wanted to experiment and see if their is any validity to the scripted statements that have been going around. I played one half on All Star as the Lakers(me) vs Bulls(cpu) on All-Star with shooting percentages at default. It was pretty even at the half, I was only down 5. I dropped the all CPU shooting percentages in half and they shot only shot 22% in the third quarter. However, 4th quarter came and they lit it up shooting over 60%. Brad Miller seemed more like Reggie Miller drilling 18 footers. Getting 2K tomorrow.

I love to hear a poster that wants to prove a point start off their statement by saying I dont suck, or I'm a good player. I've played vs. the Bulls several times and Miller cant even get his shot off. It's not "officially scripted"...no no, it's you "officialy suck"!!!!
So youre going to buy 2K tomorrow

1) I always like to look at a posters history before commenting on these to make sure im not wasting my time....I see that your not aimlessly trolling or anything...you clearly made a decision to buy the game and give it a shot.
2) You probably shouldnt use the word "scripted"...it automatically groups you with the view that you think a winner is predetermined, which im sure you probably dont.
3) Looks like you posted out of frustration...which frankly, I can somewhat identifiy with. View the tips on the board...keep at it. At least wait until the DNA drops. This may make a big difference in itself.Comment

I have been playing both 2k and Live back and forth to compare them, and I have to say Live seems pretty scripted. Shot success in Live is not based on whether you're open. Players will blow wide open jumpers and then make contested ones.
From my experience, 2k's shot success is almost totally determined by how open you are. In 2k, wide open shots go in most of the time, and contested shots miss most of the time. This is what you want, because it rewards you for getting open, and it rewards you on defense for staying on your man and cotesting the CPU's shots. Overall 2k just feels more rewarding to play because of this.Comment

Im not gonna say you suck b/c i haven't seen you play but if you are playing anything like last year or any year on 2k you are gonna get beat on live 10.
But i will say this if you are the lakers and lose to the bulls you have to suck a lil bit b/c the lakers have too many weapons and you must don't know how to use them......but have fun w/ 2k lmmfaoComment
