    post up moves

hey guys, did Ea change how the post up moves work. Just yesterday i could hold the rt trigger and hit the x button to turn for a hook shot or tap the x button for an up and under. now it seams i have to hold the rt trigger and at the same time i release it i have to hit the x button. also....could someone explain how to do a post up spin move. do i hold the right trigger and at the same time i release it do i move the the lt stick right or left?

    Re: post up moves

Good thread.... also when dumping into the post the CPU seems to pick and choose when to steal the ball on the entry pass. Is there a way to pass into the post "safely" with either a bounce or lob? When on defense, can you front the post?

I need help with my post game!

Use the off ball controls to make sure you guy catches the ball safely. The drawback to doing this is you give up some of your established position in the paint.

          X (tap) = Pump Fake

X (tap) + Left Stick (move player)
+ Right Stick (left or right)
          = Pump Fake & Drive

X (double tap) = Up and Under

X + Left Stick (neutral) = Hook Shot or Post Turnaround (depending on player ratings)

X + Left Stick (move away from basket) = Post Fade Shot

Right Trigger + Right Stick (left or right) = Drop Step

Right Stick (left or right) = Post Spin

Left Stick (up) prior to dribbling = Pivot Face Up

          Magic Johnson= G.O.A.T.

They need to add more post up moves. Some Sig post up moves would be nice.Other than that still having a blast with the game. I think i might need to bump up the close shot slider.Seems like I always miss my post up shots. Even with the all star bigs(duncan,Ming,AL,Shaq,Howard). Jump hooks never go in for me
