    Substitution question.....patch or DNA update?

Sorry, couldnt find the answer to this anywhere.......

Just wondering if these 2 things are a DNA thing, or a patch thing..

    1. proper player rotations......(can you adjust this manually anywhere?)

2, Having your starters automatically subbed out after the first timeout when you adjust them...

I don't know how it'll work in a Dynamic season but, they need to allow us to allocate minutes like in the other game. We should be able to adjust rotations FOR ALL TEAMS and save it to our rosters. That way guys who shouldn't be playing big minutes wouldn't be playing. For instance, when I play as the Nuggets I get heavy doses of Johan Petro and a player that figures to be in the rotation like Aaron Afflalo doesn't play.

Any word on this yet. Even in Dynamic Season players like Brandon Jennings will be yanked at the first dead ball and Luke Ridnour will play the majority of the minutes at the one. Will the distribution of minutes be adjusted according to how they are in real life once more data is figured into DNA? Or will ratings be adjusted so the cpu won't always look to put in the player with higher ratings?

This drive me crazy when the computer takes out Jennings and puts in Ridnour. I always just have to switch to manuel subs, but that is kind-of a pain, but at least it works.

Your forced to use manual to get proper rotations but the menu systems are so terrible that it defeats the purpose.

This is one of the few issues that I forgot to mention in the Impressions thread. I was playing my 1st Dynasty game and Bynum for the Lakers came out when a foul was called in the 1st 30 seconds. That is a huge problem. Seems like DNA should play a part in this when auto subs during Dynamic Season. Peace!!!!

Its a ratings thing. Marcus can adjust this.

we know its a ratings thing

but the problem is what if the better player doesn't start they automatically take the player out. brad miller comes in for tyrus at the first dead ball no matter what but tyrus is the starter. if i want to play 12 minutes like you guys say produce the best result but i cant use real life lineups without manualy subing it defeats the purpose of the whole dna lineups.

so will tyrus thomas recieve a ratings boost or brad miller drop thats the only way i see the problem being fixed.

                          I always use manual subs.
And I pause to get them right.

I hate that I still have to pause ... but it's better than the alternative.

What about when you play the cpu? That's the bigger problem. Right now if you played against the Bucks Ridnour will get the bulk of the minutes. If you played against the Nuggets Balkman will play a lot while Ty Lawson won't.

And now that there's more fouls and stoppages in play there's all kinds of really random substitutions. A player will enter the game and a foul will occur and he'll be substituted out after playing a few seconds.

What's really going on? Played rewind game Cavs v Bobcats and Anjinca (back up center on Bobcats) was playing point guard. With Felton and Augustin why would he get put into the game at the one? The bad thing is he played it fairly well. Nazr Mohammed also played on the perimeter. It's only brief stretches but these substitution patterns are whack.
