Gotta say it's impressive. My only problem now is that the Knicks are SO bad in the game it's not even worth using them. It's funny during last night's broadcast on ESPN Jeff Van Gundy said the Knicks don't have a single player on their team who should be in the starting lineup of an NBA team. A lot of 6th men, a lot "in the rotation guys" but certainly no stars. And as Chris Rock said, "You're in a lotta trouble when Al Harrington is your go to guy." That's exactly how I feel now using the Knicks post-patch, I'm in a lot of trouble.

LOL I watched that as well. I can only imagine how much of a test of patience using the Knicks is.

I`ve just had an extremely tense game between my Lakers and the Cavs. Varejao tied the game on a buzzer beater to take it to overtime, but we managed to score 21 points in the ensuing quarter on 8-10 shooting, thus winning the game. Fisher shot an incredible clutch three, too.

I -love- the atmosphere in this game. The crowd really gets into the game at the appropriate moments, and the player reactions add even more to the overall experience. Each of my players were reacting wildly upon scoring in OT, and it just looked so real.

Playing on Pro made me enjoy Live again. All-Star was frustrating me beyond belief. Now the only truly disheartening moments are when the AI decides to shoot those fadeaways from half-court.

I honestly feel like pre patch play was less nervewrecking than the crap im dealing with right now. The post game seems to be worse than before. The rebounding is ridiculous. Its too dependent on height than skill. And the worse part that tops it all off is that for some reason every dunk or layup seems to bounce out. Same applies to jumpshots. Its like the only person who gets to score is Lebron James.....very disappointed so far with post-patch play...

Again, I don't understand the complaints about the patch, at least offline wise. The game plays better, to me, and is now a real b-ball challenge because now the CPU plays with purpose. I get more steals, now, can back down the CPU when I want, the block button serving as a hands in face and block attempt button, less ridiculous calls in favor of the CPU and is now more balanced (pending your sliders). The goaltend and CPU halfcourt chucks when bodied issues aside, the patch is great but one thing I did notice is that after my buckets, the cutscenes don't work anymore. They appear to start for literally a millisecond, if I'm paying attention to be able to see even that bit of nothing. I miss that especially when hitting 3 bombs and seeing the emotion of the player who shot it. I miss it even more so when playing a home game with the crowd going wild and the announcer and his excitement.

I think I've read it from PS3 people, right? EA seems to have an issue with what they are doing with another game on the PS3 this year, NHL10, freezing.

I know I haven't experienced that myself, but I'm on 360. Only word on the subject I can offer.

Wait, actually, in the first few days of release, I DID experience a freezing at the end of a game with a few seconds left and my Nets up by 2. Cleveland called a timeout and when I hit the X button to bypass the cutscreen, the game froze. I was mad because it would have been my first win in a trillion tries on All-Star. Lol. Well, maybe not a trillion but...

I hear yet to hear a PA announcer in this game in any game mode. And i don't know if its just me but jumpshooting is a ***** post-patch. Anyone else having these problems on PS3 or any system for jumpshooting.

I'm with you Trey. I played another couple games today and it was great. No issues to speak of. I think rebounding has been improved a ton.

Been playing Dynamic Season games (mostly with Dallas) and been having a blast. I played Boston vs. Minnesota today and predictability won comfortably, but it was still fun and well played by the CPU. Flynn was extremely aggressive early on, but cooled and finished with 15.

I don't know what happened after I downloaded the patch but I CAN NOT play an online game anymore. After we select teams...........it just freezes in the hangar !!!

Pre patch............I had ZERO problems with freezing.

I dont know what to do anymore.....

I really don't want to have to put the game on the shelf until the 2nd patch comes out.

Update: I know can no longer start an offline game either ??? Either the game freezes or just sits in the hangar with the word "loading" flashing ???

yea i started a lakers dynasty last night. got allthe way to the 3rd quarter......bam, the game freezes! how can i prevent freezes? Do i have to clear my cache? Does anybody have any tips on drawingmoreuser fouls? im sick of playing good D, only to have my player sucked in animation that causes a foul....Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

Do you have replays?
You must to delete it.
At Hangar your replays are showed on the Gym Screens.
Althougt not all replays can be the cause, i had deleted all replays and now it is not frozen,
you must to try this.

Probably my biggest complaint with the game at this point. This really needs to be removed, the CPU gets too many bail out/jump into the defender fouls called. The user needs to get more rewarded for playing tough D.

It's esp frustrating if I'm playing someone like CP3 or Rondo and I'm really sagging off trying to make them jump shooters and I do a great job of cutting off their angles only to have that bad animation and the CPU getting a whistle.
