First time-NBA LIVE 10

Hey wuz up guys? Im about to play NBA LIVE 10 here in a couple of minutes for the first time. Now I am a big sports fan, so I play the other big sports games(Madden, The Show) and am pretty skilled at them. But I have never felt compelled to play an NBA game as much as this one. The gameplay, graphics, & authenticy I keep hearing about has me really excited into learning the ins & outs of this game to give me an authentic, fun experience.

I would really appreciate tips on how to perform certain dribbles, passes, also tips on playing D. Any I information I can get from you guys would be really helpful.

I would start in the hangar and follow some of the tips that pops up and go from their. Peace!!!!

Thanks, Im really liking this game. I have read some good tips in other threads, but Im still having trouble running my offense smoothly. Too many collisions and sloppy shooting by me.

Im going to continue to practice though till I get get good at running my O before I start my season. Anything else I should know?

-Practice & Master the shot release of each player.
-Learn how to use the direct pass. Hold L2 and press any of the ff. Triangle, Square, Circle, & X.
-Don't force the ball when the lane is clogged.
-learn how to use the offense playbook/play calling & pick & roll (hold circle)
-learn how to post up and off ball control.
-And don't rush the ball. Just take your time and find the open man.

Be prepared to be beaten like a prisoner. The cpu will do you hard. I won my first game ever playing the Magic and thought I was the man. Then proceeded to lose every game afterward for what seemed like a year. lol

Practicing is the key. You really need to know your team. Patience helps when running your offense. Also when the computer goes on runs call timeout! Run plays and also isolating your go to guy for me helps.

Jus remember right stick one way, followed by left stick the opposite way is your cross.

Hey wuz up dorismary Im a big fan of those rosters you put out with bigshmooz for the show equipment edits were spot on. Hope yall get together again next year!

But back on topic yea pick this game up man, It captures everything you see or hear at an NBA game. I luv hearing the bass from my speakers along with the crowd while Im playing a game, exciting. I also like the control you have of your players. I play with the Mavs and still need alot practice but I can tell that I am getting better. From moving Terry manually to the 3 point line then receiving a pass from Kidd & draining a 3, or posting Dirk up fake then rise up for jump shot. This game is good.

P.S. Small detail, alot more jersey options also weighed in on my decision for this game over the other one.

Oh yea almost forgot. Yea its better than the demo.
