There are issues, but I do not feel let down. This is a solid bare bones game built on a good foundation with potential in the future to become great.

Yeah i do feel let down by both games. They need to make 1 game and just feed off each other. I was really impressed by Live at first but after playing those bugs and suspect things have kept me from playing any longer and now with the patch taking away overtime, what else can we really say bout live this year.

I'm not sure how anyone could feel let down... I didn't play the game last year (only the demo) but this is light years ahead of that game and slowly creeping up on 2k. First year I've bought Live over 2k and I couldn't be happier right now honestly.

the patch is causing the game to freeze in overtime situations...many people have reported it...apparently the user gets credited with the win..I haven't seen it for myself, but it makes me not want to play.

yikes, that's a serious problem if true

I love microsoft's testing policy, so they will have to wait another month at least with development testing in-house and 7-10 days with M$ before releasing another patch? That's if they even want to invest the resources in another one? lol, gotta love gaming nowadays.

Not disappointed in the least.

If you are mainly a online ranked match person, It may not be your cup of tea...but ont he court, I have precious few complaints.

How can you be disappointed with a game that's MUCH better than it's predecessor? Live has been garbage for a long time. This is the first time I can actually play Live.

I don't feel let down at all. Unless you were expecting it to be the greatest game ever and listened to Live forum trolls too much, I don't understand how you can be disappointed with this game.

Not let down at all...sure it has plenty of problems but this game puts me in the action like no other b-ball game before it...even with the flaws I am having a blast (although fixing the bugs would make it even better)...

Nice look at me thread! Most of us are not let down at all.

I picked up Live for the 1st time since 1996-97 So I'd say im impressed. Does it have some minor issues? Sure.

Dynamic Season is going to be great. Major readson I picked this game up.

If your let down, trade it in, sell it and move on....discussions like this do nothing to add to the OS Community.

Waiting for the patch, proper DNA and Dynamic Season before making a final judgment.

But playing exhibition games and online has been a blast, so no I'm definitely not let down. I assume things will only get better with the three things I mentioned in the first sentence.

I agree.

The only letdown is probably from people who hyped themselves up into thinking this would be the end all-be all of basketball gaming.

I don't think EA or anyone marketed it as such. I think they made some amazing strides this year.

I for 1 dont feel let down by the game. I was really enjoying the game on my ps3 until the latest update that screwed things up. Although I am disapointed about the update and hearing the 360 patch really messed things up. I hope ea stops the patch for the ps3 until they fix the bugs but I guess that is probably wishfull thinking on my part.
