A lot of the fellas here didn't play LIVE 09...

One thing to keep in mind is that the DNA updates really improved the game as the season went along.

By mid season, some of the stuff was really improved.

The big problem was that, with each update came the need to start again...i.e. the updates were useless if you were in a season or dynasty.

So, LIVE 09 was basically good for exhibition and rewind games and nothing else.

That's solved with 'Dyamic Season'...all the updates will go straight into your current season. So, you'll have rosters and dna updates non stop that you can use in your season.

A lot of people have PMd me asking about this game or messaged asking whether to keep it / sell it etc. It's not my decision to make, but IMO the DNA makes this game well worth keeping long term.

Both games have really stepped up with the online content this season...and this dynamic season stuff is 'the' biggest step forward I have seen.

Note: All this is on the proviso they fix the bugs. I am reasonably confident they will do so. Well, I hope so.

Can you explain how this works, so basically long as I go day by day and play the game for each day it will update. I just need to take it day by day.

lol, not always.

Rudy Gay online last year was arguably the best player because of his insane hot streak. But yeah overall it's good.

its just a shame that the 1st one is jacked up. they were better off leaving us with the default settings until we were deeper into opening week.

Hogwash. It's only solved if you want to play a single NBA season. If you want to play multiple seasons then it still isn't solved.

Well, actually, it IS solved.... You can't very well expect to run a 'Dynamic Franchise' with player DNA available for multiple seasons...

For those wanting to run a franchise, grab the DNA after everybody plays a game or two and have at it. That's the only option we have....

Exactly what i think. I wish we could have had a good update before the season started that would not have screwed us dynasty people. It kind of hard to start when I have a few guys with no # and the mutated or invisible man in chicago,lol. I would have liked to see the dynamic season tied into dynasty. Pick your team and play the season with all the updates, with transactions and injuries. Then once the season is over it would kick into dynasty mode. Maybe next yeay we could get that option.

Yeah...I should have said this is great for SEASON players.

For DYNASTY guys...you are basically scrwed. This game is terrible for Dynasty IMO. Even if you D/L this week's DNA...you are stuck with how players played the first few games this season for your ENTIRE dynasty...and also guys who are injured currently won't ever be in your dynasty.

For season players though...it's great
