You're starting to blow out your opponent because they don't know how to play defense and all of your shots are uncontested in the paint... yet you start to miss open lay-ups because the game likes the end game stats to look "realistic". Come on man!

Having to play the Celtics every other time in ranked online games... come on man!

Being able to play low IQ basketball (jack up 3's everytime, abuse the take charge button, use nobody but your superstar on every offensive possession, etc.) and still have a chance (and usually win) against someone playing sim style... Come on man!

Missing pretty much every uncontested 6-10 ft jumper, especially with big men... Come on man!

Bigs not taking it up strong most of the time... Come on man, that's 6th grade basketball!

Screwy free throw bar that seems variably laggy... Come on man!

I like this game but it has made me throw my controller a few times playing online. And I haven't done that since Super Nintendo. This is the first bball game I've played since 2K7 and they're just not there yet. Maybe next-gen there will finally be a bball game that plays like real bball and doesn't reward cheese. This game will be sold when MW2 comes out.

I actually still love the game but there are some "COME ON MAN" Moments I'd like to address...Please add yours and lets have a lil fun. Please note these issues address ONLINE PLAY ONLY.

Following each listed issue Please insert the phrase: Come On Man!!!

1.All Post Game "Top Replays" are blocks???...
2. No Fatigue In Ranked Games?
3. Bigs stumbling and falling in the lane excessively..
4. Inability to kick the ball back out because players get stripped too fast?
5. Contested 3's falling too often while easy put backs are misses???
6. Bigs failing to get into their post moves quick enough after a pass...
7. Being all alone for over 15 minutes in the Sim Lobby
8. EA's League Feature???
9. Jameer Nelson and J.R. Smith...

I gotta continually say though...Even with all the stuff I am not liking I am still enjoying the game online thus far...

The basketball solution for the most enjoyment is play people who keep it real and simply deal with the games shortcomings...Don't trip...I'm still enjoying the game...Most of the suspect stuff is far more noticeable when you play someone who is cheesing...But when you play someone that keeps it 100% real...The game is quite good.

The problem is that you shouldn't have to play with people who "keep it real". They need to fix the stuff that cheesers abused and make it so that you have to play realistically to win. The cheesing abuse is amplified by the obvious runs (if the other guy is starting a big run, you will most likely miss open lay-ups and dunks) and the lack of fatigue in ranked online games.

Cause right now in ranked online games it feels like it's impossible to stop cheesers unless you start cheesing yourself.

I agree with you...Personally..I don't play ranked online games because I prefer to play on Superstar Level with Fatigue on so all of my ONLINE games are custom non-ranked matches set at 7 min or above qtrs.

EA should definitely make the game more cheese proof but at the end of the day I doubt we will ever see a game that will be cheese proof because no matter what idiots just play like idiots...at the same time I feel you when the bottom line should be an idiot should not be REWARDED in the game for IDIOTIC play

The basketball solution phrase was a response to all of the early complainers wondering why everytime they dribbled into the paint and tried to crossover they got stripped or lost the rock...I think we all can agree that each and every year people complain about things that are not really problems.

Please find my quote indicating I NEVER thought the game had problems...I won't hold my breath on that... because it never happened.

In fact if you go back and find those quotes and read them in their specific context I think you'll have a better understanding of how they related to the specific complaints.

Its easy to talke a comment and then apply it to anything for shock value...I'll stand by the comment on the strength that this forum and most forums have people who before they even learn the game cry before looking to solve the problem with an appropriate solution. Simply put the pre-patch solution for most complaints was..."Stop playing on All-Star and play on Superstar"...Is that a basketball solution??...not really...but a solution nonetheless...Now apply that same logic to the person crying about a double team or zone defense or excessive dribbling in the paint which were rampant complaints and I guarantee you there are basketball solutions to many of the complaints that were lodged.
