This is definitely something that has NOT been given much attention since Live 06, if it were given any besides just adding voice-overs for new guys' names. SMH. I swear, if these same two guys are commenting in Live 11 I will not play it. Can't take hearing how Melo came into the league with Lebron, with Marv chiming in how Melo came off the NCAA title with Syracuse in EVERY SINGLE GAME, EVERY YEAR. Very surprised EA didn't touch commentary, in the same year when their competition revamped their own and created a superb dynamic system.
Mark Jackson & Stan Van Gundy would be great. I love their back and forth, with SVG occasionally getting intense. They have great chemistry, Jackson usually stays cool, and I gotta co-sign tbaby: I love that "Mama, there goes that man" line lol
Even Bill Walton would be cool, but they just gotta bring out his personality. I remember one of the 2K's had Walton, but with plain commentary and none of his signature (and ridiculous) assertions and analysis ("Chauncey Billups is the most clutch shooter in the history of Colorado basketball"). If your gonna get these guys, give them the stuff they're known for, and make it varied PLEASENOW PLAYING:
