ps3 update ?

Anybody know when the ps3 update will be available ? Do we have to update the game manually or will the auto update just pop when you power up the game ?>

The way the patch should work is it will prompt you to download it when you power up the game if your connected online.

No one knows, but we're all pissed at Sony for their slow "free" service. Not sure what you get that's free but apparently it's delayed releases on EVERYTHING.

Well, maybe it hasnt been released because they are working on the patch because there were problems with the 360 patch....or thats what I heard.

If they have delayed the patch to fix the bugs it would be nice to be given notice so we don't keep anticipating it.

That's what I was thinking. You ps3 users should be lucky you haven't gotten the patch yet.

Agreed, I want the roster updated with the aliens and invisible people gone before the patch comes out so I can disconnect from being online. I dont want that patch till I know it wont break something else. I have really enjoyed the game. It has had some minor flaws out of the box but for the most part is very enjoyable.

Are there still aliens and invisible players? Who are they, Because I want to start my dynasty now, but I want a roster set that doesn't have these people!

I just checked the EA guys twitter...the patches were sent out at the same time to MS and SONY.

Sony is just taking longer.

That means...we are getting the same patch as the 360 guys just got.

Not a "fixed the bugs, this is why it's late" etc.........

2 weeks? I'm pretty sure it came out last tuesday. It hasn't even been a week. Also, several people are reporting issues with the game post-patch yet you still really want it? I think the game is fine as it is pre patch, but I would like some things that were included in the post patch. Just continue to play the game and have fun for now instead of just bashing Sony.

From what I have heard the roster fix should come out Monday night. It was suppose to come out friday night but something went wrong with the file from what iminurbase said. Hopefully we can start dynasty tuesday, I just hope theps3 patch does not come out until later.

And PSN releases are on Thursdays so it would be Nov 5th a week and 3 days, a week and a half later. Is that somehow better?

And the patch fixed a lot of mind numbing frustrations that I really would like to play with, so yes I want it and no I wont stop bashing Sony because this is stupid waiting this long after millions of others have received their update. These delays happen on demos, patches, DLC anything, you name it.

I can't return the PS3 and no one buys it off craigs list otherwise Id have a 360 and the larger games library and better exclusives.

Patches for the PS3 can post any day...it's not like the playstation store which only updates on thursdays. So game patches are available at all times. Better exclusives? I take it you haven't played Uncharted or Uncharted 2 yet? Or Killzone? Chronicles of Valkyrie? Etc...
