    PS3 patch is available...

    I just threw the game in to get the latest rosters...and it's prompted me to download a 25MB file / LIVE version 1.01.

    I am presuming this is the patch

      Yup its out. Just got done watching a movie while waiting for ps3 update release time. Was also hoping for NCAA basketball demo.

          Played a game Spurs vs Blazers and so far not one problem. The gameplay feels alot better and I can notice the game speed tuned down and even defense feels tighter. Game felt so sloppy before the patch with game speed to fast and all the turnovers and steals. Its way toned down.

          I can finally throw the ball down low to a big man and post up instead of hoping my guy would post up or have him fumble the ball like he was Keith Vanhorn.

          Only 1 game played but I wanted to post something. Its 3am Ill probly play a bunch more games b4 I call it a nite. I really hope that this ps3 patch plays out diffrent and better then the 360 patch.

              Just so you fellas know...this patch will have the same bugs.

              I've been told that directly.

              So...don't get too angry when you get the bugs. We know there's a second patch anyway. In that way, getting it a week or two after the 360 guys has been an advantage.

                  As if on cue......my entire game just locked up. Froze completely.

                  I had to re-boot the PS3 to get it off the screen. Even after I ejected the LIVE disk, the image was stuck there on the screen.

                  I haven't had this game freeze ever on me...ess than an hour post patch and it's locked up.

                  I am glad they are gonna fix this......now can see why the 360 guys were frustrated
