is realistic defense better seen on pro or allstar

hey guys, i have a quick question as far as defense goes, does pro or allstar give you a more (realistic defense) experience. where do you get the most double teams and open looks for shooters. for example: when using the Cavs, if lebron is running the point and he starts to drive, does the double team on him come more from pro or allstar. in reality thier is always a double team when he drives ( especially in the paint) and he can dish it to an open guy.

what skill setting will give me that scenerio most often

*also i am using ld4 sliders (defensive help is at 100% as well)

    thanks

Personally I think it's pro even post patch, though I've had a great game on All-Star where it was perfect.

On AS though I think rotations happen a little too fast.

most likely. Does no one just play against the CPU anymore? I would guess the online stuff is for the younger generation.

yeah this is for non-online play. sorry for the mis-confusion.

imo online does not give me that true sim experience. but then it could just be the people i'm playing against

so i will try it more on the pro level

I'm starting to like Super Star level again.....

But Pro level with the right sliders beefed up for the CPU's defense is probably the way to go right now.

Super Star has the smartest AI after observing all the levels but I know for a fact there is some cheating going on and i don't care what EA say's they have some speed cheats happening on this level in favor of the CPU's catch up defense.

I reduced all their guys speed minus 10 points and boosted up my players +5 points in speed and they were still beating me down the floor in transistion.

Now in real life there are teams and certain players that are very good in transistion defense. But in this game on Super Star IMO there is a speed cheat happeing even if they don't want to admit it.

The higher the difficulty the more cheating you will notice from the cpu ai. Its sort of like how the madden difficulties operate.

If you can find or create a great slider set for pro it is the best way to get a more realistic game from both offense and defense.

I'm going to try to do the opposite and make the CPU D more realistic on All-Star because I love how the CPU's offense plays on AS. On Pro they play O more "pre-patch" where they aren't as aggressive and bloodthirsty.

On All-Star they O play like you said something about their momma.

The momma comment is so true. But i just dont like being in games were grant hill plays like lebron james, or keeyon dooling playing like oscar robertson even with the cpu shooting sliders down significantly.

It's a matter of preference. I myself prefer seeing the AI play less aggressively.

I played a game on pro and it was a much more fun game. It played more like real basketball. I could get in the lane, draw fouls, and hit open guys for jumpshots.
